Keep me updated about bugs on your new toy.. odd that 1X would vanish when you connect to LTE, I doubt that connection is actually dropping (at least I hope not). Can you make phone calls when connected to LTE? PM me your email address and I will send you a testing APK.

But lots of devices don't have SVLTE, right? Haven't heard of this sort of bug on any other devices before. Even if it's not capable of talking and browsing at the same time, shouldn't it still hold an idle 1X connection anyway? Otherwise you could never receive a phone call if you happened to be using data when someone was trying to reach you?

I believe the ones only in the last few months like the S4, Note3,etc. But yes it should work like the phones that don't have SVDO it should poll the 1x for any network messages coming in. I was just saying it might have something to do with it.

Screen shots.... i have all bands enabled. I am not connecting to band 25 at all it seems. My htc one is not connected to lte as i type this. When my htc on has lte the G2 does not, i believe i am connected To band 41not sure how to check tho.

OH WOW!!  It shows both GCI and PCI.  Stock ROM I assume.  If so, that's GREAT news!!  Also shows the 310-120 correctly, which we are hoping Sprint has a different ID for the 800 LTE side of things.  That would make it easy to determine the band, kind of like how the 224xx SIDs for 1x800.  We've already seen the different ID for band 41.  Don't remember it off hand though.

I won't believe it unless you go to the LTE Engineering screen and see the channels and/or band.  We've already seen that 310120 is not band 41.  Dial ##DEBUG# and check it out.  Feel free to post them here.

Those are the numbers that allow us to identify which site you are connected to. Most devices only show one or the other. HTC's show GCI, Samsung and Nexus have shown only PCI. For those markets that are tracking the rollout with their own spreadsheets, it's very helpful.

That would be nice to track...Would like to track the towers here in my area....I live right by (I think) the only two 3g/800/4g towers in Florida...want to watch the progres....Also Glad the LG G2 shows those to help...I have mine on pre-order!

They don't really match up, that's where the spreadsheet and map come into play.  Sometimes the GCIs in the market are in order by Site ID.  See here:

That's some awesome information. Is this something that you maintain seperate from Robert's Info? (Sorry If I'm off topic) I'd like to start one for the Florida Markets (As I don't see one there for Florida) or if there is maybe you could point me in the right direction. Would like to contribute information to the group as much as I can. :-D Any input would be appreciated, and you may PM me if you like. Or I can move to a different thread.
