Even though Sprint hasn't announced any plans for Windows Phone 8 devices I would like to see the Lumia 920. It compares similarly to the other top tier phones http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/5/3293500/nokia-lumia-920-galaxy-s-iii-iphone-iphone-4s-ativ-s-specs-compare but I'm interested in Windows Phone 8 since Android and iOS both seem a bit boring.

No, not necessarily strange. Europe and Asia have (or will have) some band 7 LTE, which is LTE FDD 2500-2570 MHz x 2620-2690 MHz.

 

But are you sure that the new Nokia Lumia devices support only FDD profile, not TDD? Europe also has (or, again, will have) band 38 TD-LTE, which is a subset of our band 41 TD-LTE.

Yeah, HTC is making a lot of money in the android sphere. Same with Motorola, right?

 

Nokia should have bought Palm. With Palm's software and Nokia's hardware, it could have been successful. I still like Nokia's hardware. At least they look attractive. Much more stylish than the GSIII. The GSIII is dipped in the sea of ugly;).

I was just going off the nokia spec sheet (under hardware)

It specifically mentions FD-LTE but not TD-LTE, which I thought was strange considering the MSM8960 supports it.

This is an extremely small minority opinion. I've not met one person who has seen my GS-III that has said it was ugly. I constantly hear that it looks sexy. Even most iPhone owners drool over the case design.

 

However, I would think you would love the GS-III. It looks just like an iPhone, right? That's why I bought it. I can't tell the difference. :lol:

Nope, it looks nothing like an iPhone. When Samsung does not copy the iPhone their phones are ugly. I like the new LG Intuition for Verizon.

You can't be a phone, you are ART!

 

 

 

 

Ohhh, for those who talk about Android running on a Lumia phone, that would look ridiculous and silly. Nokia worked closely with Microsoft to design phones that melded with the Windows Phone interface. Suffice to say Android and Windows Phones interface doesn't look anything alike. Same goes for running iOS on a Lumia, would look silly also.

These phones look really nice, and Windows Phone 8 looks awesome... I just wish their casing wouldn't look like crayons!

I like the idea of a bright yellow phone but not for two years. Personally I think the slate grey color is the best looking.

Caesars Superdome, home of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, has deployed a large number of cellular antennas from MatSing as part of an effort to increase wireless network capacity ahead of the upcoming Super Bowl LIX in February, 2025. It is the third such deployment of MatSing equipment at Super Bowl venues in as many years, following cellular upgrades at Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII and at State Farm Stadium for Super Bowl LVII. According to the Saints, the MatSing antennas were part of a large wireless overhaul this offseason, done primarily “to satisfy fans’ desires for wireless consumption and bandwidth,” an important thing with Super Bowl LIX coming to the venue on Feb. 9, 2025. Another 16 large antenna spheres of varying sizes and frequencies have also been installed for a total of 32 new large antennas, in addition to 200 cellular antennas inside and around the building, all of these products specifically made for high-density environments such as stadiums and arenas. The DAS system's performance is expected to enhance further as it becomes fully integrated throughout the season. The MatSing MS-48H180 devices, with a black color that matches the Caesars Superdome's roof, each were individually raised by hoist machines to the top of the facility and bolted into place. Each cellular antenna then transmits 48 different beams and signals to a specific area in the stadium, with each sphere angled differently to specifically target different coverage areas, allowing increased, consistent coverage for high-density seating areas. In addition to creating targets in seating and common areas throughout the stadium, these antennas create dedicated floor zones that result in improved coverage to the field areas for fans in 12 field-level suites and the Mercedes-Benz End Zone Club, teams and on-field media and broadcast elements. The project is also adding 2,500 new wireless access points placed in areas such as concourses, atriums, suites and food and beverage areas for better WiFi coverage.
