Bright side is 3G is finally after 2 years of being unusable actually usable again since alot of devices are now on the unusable lte signal and most people dont know how to make it 3g only.

Just tried out T-Mobile for laughs (Test Drive, which is a kind of cool attraction.)  Anyways, I've come to the conclusion that Sprint is better here, coverage-wise.  I'd rather have a reliable method

I'm safe. Sprint holding up well. 4.5 million without power. The eye of the storm coming straight for Marion county with 100mph winds. I hope I have a home to go to when this is over.

So the most used tower in Ocala went live with 4G but there are major problems. First it definitely has that triband issue where i cant connect to it. Also my galaxy note 2 gets a really good signal but its unusable around 0.07 down and 0.15 up. There is still people at the tower now so hopefully they are aware of this issue. I will definitely be heading there to tell them about it sometime in the next hour or so

Wonder if they are switching over the backhaul right now.  If you go talk to them try to hit them up about 800mhz in the area again lol.

Ours is down, too. Data works perfectly fine. We are having to use Talkatone (with Google Voice) to call each other this morning.

 

My text messages are failing or being duplicated to the sender for the first time in a long time this morning...

Same thing that was happening to me. My phone is making and receiving calls now.

I'm wondering if Sprint is bringing up 800mhz 1x and it was causing issues? Or maybe other NV issues?

 

First thing I thought of was a massive 800mhz light up lol.  I don't seem to be having any issues near Town Center though.

Maybe you were I'm in this area everyday. Never picked this up until today when we had the voice outage.

 

Edit - I also flashed digiblur's 513 prl today also.

I've been sitting on that PRL and haven't flashed it... Guess now is the time.

What method did you use to flash the PRL?  I used to use DFS but it doesn't seem to be playing nicely with my phone anymore.

That just made my day. I noticed a funky signal issue here in St Augustine around 7 am where voice and data were unavailable and after a few airplane cycles and a restart, I finally got back up and running. I'll see if I can find anything. Do you need Digiblur's prl to connect to 1x800?

      Everything "Uncarrier" is becoming "Carrier" again. Because of the Credit Limit that T-Mobile put on our account for no reason at all (and wouldn't change/update the last time I checked all the way up to the CEO), I don't plan on buying/upgrading our iPhones through T-Mobile. I'm going through Apple directly. Looks like I'll be going through Google and Samsung directly for our other lines for upgrades. Also, we're staying on Sprint Max given the ridiculous pricing for Go5G Plus. On Sprint Max, we currently pay for our Plan: $260 for 7 Voice Lines $25 for two Wearable Lines. (One is $10/Month. The other is $15/Month because the AutoPay discount only applies up to 8 lines.) Total: $285/Month vs. Go5G Plus (Per the Broadband Facts "nutrition label" on the T-Mobile Website): https://www.t-mobile.com/commerce/cell-phone-plans $360 - ($5 AutoPay Discount x 7 Voice Lines) = $325 The Watch Plans show as either $12/Month or $15/Month: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/affordable-data-plans/smartwatches So this is about the same for the wearables as what we're paying now. Overall, it's quite more than we're paying now to switch plans. Ridiculous....

      I’m surprised they’re running a 5x5 Band 66 carrier still. In NYC T-Mobile has 25x25 AWS and they’re running 20x20 Band 66 and 5x5 n66 (in testing). Presumably when n66 commercially launches they’ll drop Band 66 down to 15x15 and go straight for a 10x10 n66 carrier like they did with n25.

      Austin has now narrowed B2 to 15x15 to support a second 10x10 n25 channel, this time entirely in PCS A-F. So T-Mobile now has 35x35 FD (n71 + n25) and 180 MHz TD (n41) NR live here, and LTE single carrier bandwidth now tops out at 15x15. LTE is down to 5x5 B12, 15x15 B2, 10x10+10x10+5x5 B66, so they now have 5 carriers each of LTE and NR, with 45x45 total LTE.
