Hmight
They still have a lot to improve here. Sands gets coverage in the main halls but gets little to no coverage in the meeting rooms. However other carriers Verizon, ATT have great strong signal. How was your experience with the rest of the strip or Las Vegas? A lot to improve at the Sands (yes!), what about the rest of Las Vegas? mnjeepmale
Outside the coverage is not bad. Haven't been down the strip much since I'm working all day. Gets a little frustrating when people next to you have ATT, T-Mobile, Verizon and not lose service or data.

nexuss4g
Will be in Vegas starting Thursday for EDC, expecting great service in the strip and Motor Speedway. Last year service was pretty good while at the event. Probably will see even better service than a year ago. I have a Moto X Pure so lets see how my phone reacts with the crowd.

Dont u just love san bernardino county right now Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk Low band or not, Sprint still does a good job on the Strip. The area next to the T-Mobile arena (ironically) is probably one of the best for B41 on the Strip and outperformed my T-Mobile tablet while waiting for a ride back to the airport. Downtown Vegas casinos are another story.

I was wondering whether or not to buy a set of walkie talkies for my group just in case we get separated and service isn't great. How was data at the event? Last year, was able to upload some vids, check facebook, make calls and texts with no problem. LTE data would go on and off intermittently if too many people in one spot but it would re-scan and come back. There's a sprint tower close to the venue so that probably helps. I had a Moto X 1 Gen last year on LTE B25. Have a Moto X pure now so band 41 should help a lot. My friend on ATT was struggling with no service at all, my other friend on T-mobile was fine. I took some walkies last year but didn't use them, make sure you time-stamp your text messages in case there is congestion. chunkyrice
Geez, these speeds make me glad to be on Sprint. Now here's me hoping that I get enough reception to be able to use the hotspot feature of my plan to turn in some assignments for school. PS:I'll be glad to have a working 8 Mbps/2 Mbps connection during EDC... heck all over the Sprint Network would be nice.

nexuss4g
How was the coverage and service out at EDC? Text with no issues, data was sluggish, but was able to get push notifications from the Insomniac app at the speedway. Was on B41 mostly, data was congested. I have a Moto X Pure so carrier aggregation does not work on my device so perhaps people had better service with other devices.
compuwizz
There was a COW from someone next to Neon Garden. Two sets of long panels and two sets of large square panels that had 8 cables going into the bottom of them. AT&T had a COW next to Kinetic Field which for my AT&T friends, it didn't seem like it was even turned on. However I saw an AT&T guy climb up on top of the truck to get a picture of the COW and the grounds with it. I thought I took pictures of them with my phone, but I can't find them. T-Mobile had intermittent LTE in various locations. The edges of Neon Garden and then the stage right of Circuit Grounds. It wasn't usable really anywhere during peak times in Kinetic, the garage area or the walking paths. I too was able to get the push notifications pretty reliably from the Insomniac app. At least the PlurFi network worked well enough inside the garage area to coordinate meet ups / post stuff to social media. Saw the COW as well but don't believe any were Sprint, seems like this year plenty of COW were on site, I remember last year, they only brought one and it was located at the same spot. I would fall back to 3G next entrance gate S. How do you know about T-mobile service? What service you have ? T-mobile or Sprint?
