greenbastard
Fremont street was not very good either.Fremont Casinos are not Sprint friendly at all...but then again their blackjack tables are not gambling friendly either. I think I only saw a very weak 1x every time I was inside a casino at Fremont. The strip on the other hand has working 3G at the very minimum almost everywhere (except the hotel rooms...those hit every carrier equally bad.)
mc_gusto
Yeah i was on b41 on the strip alot. And It was hosed! 3g worked better. But in front of NYNY I was really surprised att didn't work at all but my phone was fine. My first anecdotal evidence of such. Brynn0823
Of course my Vegas experience was exact opposite. Was on band 41 last month at least 75% of the time. In some casinos it fell to 3G deep inside the building. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I noticed this before on my G3 a lot too but the iPhone 6s seems to better reception. Yeah i was on b41 on the strip alot. And It was hosed! 3g worked better. orangeblue
The Convention Center has a DAS so you'll love the service there. It was a hit and miss at times before and I hope they spend some money to fix the dead spots
MacinJosh
It was a hit and miss at times before and I hope they spend some money to fix the dead spots The convention center DAS worked fine last fall when I was there. For the areas I had Band 41, it was much better!
mnjeepmale
I'll be there in two weeks at the Venetian and Sands Convention Center. I know in the casino floor it will be all 3G when I was there last.
orangeblue
The convention center DAS worked fine last fall when I was there. For the areas I had Band 41, it was much better! Central Hall was not very well covered but South Hall (upper/lower) were okay with exception to one day were the network was down. I'll be there in two weeks at the Venetian and Sands Convention Center. I know in the casino floor it will be all 3G when I was there last. The Sands has been bad but not only for Sprint. But I noticed a solid 3G signal in the underground parking garage.
bigmachine
The DAS worked well for me in the North, Center and South halls at the convention center today. Flew in and out today. Service was good at LAS airport as well. .

The strip on the other hand has working 3G at the very minimum almost everywhere (except the hotel rooms...those hit every carrier equally bad.) I noticed that LTE is not very great inside of some of the Fremont Street casinos (West). El Cortez is actually very good. WiMax used to be better as Sprint's own 3G coverage and I hope they will convert some of the sites to full builds soon. The Convention Center has a DAS so you'll love the service there. Service was much better and 2CA was working great. Just the backhaul seems to be slow (still) in Las Vegas. I was only able to get 30MB down most of the time and not really able to see higher speeds. The DAS worked well for me in the North, Center and South halls at the convention center today. Flew in and out today. Service was good at LAS airport as well. . The Airport C-Gates are very nicely covered with DAS but the speeds are not great at times. I was bouncing in and out of B41 because the DAS is currently B25 only.

Rawvega
I live walking distance from the M Resort. That seems about right for Sprint in there. I had no idea that Verizon was that bad there though. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

mnjeepmale
How was it in the Sands CC? I stayed in the Palazzo and went back and forth between Palazzo and Sands Convention Center. I believe Sands has a DAS as I got great B41 coverage most of the time. Except the meeting room I was in. I went back and forth between B25 and 3G in the meeting room however back to strong B41 coverage in the main halls. I only got 3G coverage in Palazzo casino and Grand Canal Shoppes. I think Grand Canal has a DAS as I had strong 3G signal.

greenbastard
IPCPR in JulySo Monte Carlo now has B41 covering their casino floor and even their hotel rooms (very usable for video, but unusually slow for it being B41). Signal in rooms bounce from same cell that services the casino floor and another tower I probably won't get to locate. I also experienced B41 inside The Flamingo floor which is a good update considering they only had 3G last year. Also, the network in Las Vegas is extremely aggressive at handing off to band 41 from band 25. I'm very impressed by that.

mnjeepmale
They still have a lot to improve here. Sands gets coverage in the main halls but gets little to no coverage in the meeting rooms. However other carriers Verizon, ATT have great strong signal.
