  1. She probably quit. I can see Legere being the creepiest guy ever.
  2. Yeah I saw that, too. But, their page has a breakdown of what the updates fix/change. Maybe it will be more detailed than just "maintenance and improvement."
  3. Sprint's software support page hasn't been updated yet. I'm curious to see the changelog.
  4. I just downloaded it, too. Hopefully, it fixes band 41/26 issues. I have had strange connection problems with this phone. While it has seemingly been better as of late, I still can get 41 in certain places, then drive by them a few hours later, and not connect.
  5. Same thing here in Chicago. My m8 wouldn't grab any b41 for the first week I had it. Now, it's been working pretty flawlessly all this week. I wonder what that was all about?
  6. Other phones I've used would enable hd while the call was ringing (I could usually hear the tone of the ring change), but my m8 waits until about 2 seconds after the person picks up the phone. I get a strange "click," then hd. Kind of annoying.
  7. You can view that information without disabling LTE. The next time you're on a call, click "add call," then click "dialer," then dial *3001#12345#*, then click "1x."
  8. I think my 75/13 is the fastest I've seen around these parts. Good job, Sprint.
  9. All I need is LTE in and around Bally's...and not until September.
  10. AJ, I know this is in your list, but I was wondering why there would be two different b41 channels in a market. I found this 40 minutes outside of Chicago last night. It strays from our usual 40056
  11. they're in here somewhere. Maybe a few pages back. But here's one of the second carrier
  12. Did you post your framily number anywhere online?
  13. If you're not unlocked/rooted, then yes. It's the easiest, cleanest way to upgrade.
  14. Hopefully, it's the same size as the n5. That phone has a pretty perfect form-factor.
  15. After using various androids for about 6 months, it's hard to go back to my 5s. I love ios more, but the screen really is just too small. The next one needs to be at least 4.7" with a great battery to keep up with these android phones.
  16. If you're actually in Yorkville, I can see why band 41 might be iffy. You might have a very weak connection. As far as band 26 goes, a couple things might be happening. You're either connecting to a new site that isn't optimized yet, and might be rejecting connections, or you're in good range of band 25 with good data speeds. Remember, 26 is for some capacity, and extended coverage. The network will kick you off 26 if you can get a good data experience on 25 or 41.
  17. First, do you have the latest 4.4.3 update? If not, you might have trouble connecting to 41. Also, what town do you live in? Band 41 is pretty plentiful in most areas. It's not everywhere, but it's not hard to find. If you have signal check installed, that will be your quickest way to see what you're connected to, otherwise, dial (I think, and someone else correct me if I'm wrong) *#*#debug#*#* then click LTE. That's your engineering screen and will tell you your connected band. If you're using signal check, on your pull down shade, look at your gci, more specifically, the last 2 digits. 00/01/02 is band 25, 03/04/05 is the new second pcs carrier, and 0F/10/11 is band 26. Now for band 41, I've found that the FIRST two digits will be either 00 or 08. Hope this helps. And for the most recent maps of band 26/41, look into premier sponsorship.
  18. Guys, can someone help tell me which one of these racks is WiMax? These are my local towers, and curiosity got me today, and I took a block long drive down a private drive to take pictures. This thread feels dormant, but hopefully sees this.
  19. I just know a lot of them are on high tension rigs and water towers. I could say, just F it and put up a microwave, but Robert said it months ago, that the few remaining problematic sites will be solved by band 26 so Sprint isn't concerned.
  20. It's completely random and, I think, based solely on the serial number of your device. Geographical location means nothing.
  21. I have several triband devices. Band 41 really is awesome, and it's actually quite plentiful in the city and suburbs. It's hard to drive for 10 minutes anywhere and not get it. I had 41 disabled for almost a month to locate band 26 and the second carrier.
  22. What I meant was there is no legacy gear in this market. I didn't mean 100% full builds.
