  1. And, there is no 1x preference on iPhones. It's an all-or-nothing scenario. You only get bc10 when there is zero pcs present.
  2. Yes, every site in the Chicago market is built. The power line problematic towers are mostly 3g/800 and one or two that are 3g.
  3. I've noticed that a ton a Sprint sites in the Chicago market that still don't have LTE are on the top of power lines. It must be impossible to get permission to run fiber on their land. There's one like this by my mom's house in tinley park that creates a pretty big LTE coverage gap on 159th and 80th avenue.
  4. Your gci will end in 03/04/05 in signal check when you're on the second carrier.
  5. Last night, I briefly connected to b26 on I-80 @ Larkin. I'm not sure where you live in Joliet, but it's a huge city, and things are in fact happening out there. Also, yesterday evening, I got this band 41 speed test on I-80 @ Briggs: Just have patience. I know this has been ongoing for a few years now, but help in the form of a second pcs carrier and band 26 are coming, and very quickly, at that. Plus, band 41 is also on a full-blown deployment out here. Sent from my Nexus 5
  6. They're out there. I ran into an old friend, and while exchanging numbers, I noticed that he had a nexus 5 on T-Mobile. I also recently saw a shoe commercial where they were all using white nexus 5's. Sent from my Nexus 5
  7. Is that on the new android 4.4.3 update? Sent from my Nexus 5
  8. I guess I'm glad this phone is finally sparked. Holy smokes! Sent from my Nexus 5
  9. Mike, I can honestly say that since the nexus 5 4.4.3 update, the band indicator doesn't stick...ever. For two days now, on my work commute, I'm seeing the bands switch from 41-25-26 and it reports accurately every time. It used to always hang on band 41 no matter what band I was on, and this was in several different devices. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  11. 55019 on my nexus 5 Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. I have a question for those people in a mature band 26 market: is this new radio switching to 26 as often as before? Or less than before. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. I changed global to lte and now this phone grabs 41 the same or better than my g2 or m8. I guess I'm happy. Don't know what changed but I back tracked the route when I didn't get 41, did a profile update and changed to LTE. Fixed. We'll see how b26 works Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. 25 and 3g. I've noticed that 3g drop you all have been speaking of. Meh. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. Of course I changed it. That shouldn't matter, though. Band 41 is a network top priority, and should automatically switch you over no matter what your initial scan priority is. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. My m8 picks up 4 band 41 sites on the way to work, this new radio on the n5 picked up 0. :/ Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. For everyone that has no idea what they're looking at, care to explain? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. I flashed my factory image today and took the ota. I'm going to use it tonight and see how it does. You guys got me curious. Sent from my HTC One M8
  19. As an owner of the iPhone 5s, nexus 5, g2, and m8 (yeah, I have too many devices) I can honestly say they all have their pros and cons. It really depends on what you consider important. I would say the g2 has the best battery, and the best camera. The m8 has amazing speakers, pretty good rf performance, and I kind of like HTC sense. It's like stock android but kicked up a little bit. The nexus 5 is the cheapest in price, and has the strongest rf performance. I feel the n5's camera is junk, and not suitable for anything other than social media posts. My g2 was my favorite, but I am constantly having GPS issues with it, even after a replacement unit. Also, the g2, in my opinion, has the worst rf performance of the bunch. I think I prefer my m8 between all my Android phones just because it looks incredible, performs great, has a nice camera, has the loudest, clearest speakers that I've ever experienced on a phone, amazing call quality, and a great in-hand feel. I still consider myself an iPhone guy, and will definitely return when the new one comes out. I just prefer the simplicity, and ease of use in ios. Since I own most of the phones in your list, please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. If I had to rank the androids, it would be as follows: m8, g2, and n5. Sent from my HTC One M8
  20. If I'm rooted running Franco kernel, can I take the ota? I really don't care about a factory wipe because I don't keep any important data on that phone. It's just a backup phone. Sent from my HTC One M8
  21. Mike, I've been seeing some funky screens in Signal Check. The data is all over the place; it's reporting the wrong band, and some strange frequencies. This is on my m8 Edit: I just sent a report. Sent from my HTC One M8
  22. Just checked the Sprint support page for the n5, and Sprint said it was released 5/2/14. Probably just a typo that should have been 6/2. It also says that this is, in fact, the spark update. Judging by all of your comments, it seems like a disappointment. Like a kid who's promised an Xbox all year for Christmas, and gets socks . Sent from my HTC One M8
  23. If apple implements a heartbeat monitor, I'll die. These health apps have no business being baked into any OS. The S5 took gimicky hardware to a whole new level with the heartbeat thing.
  24. Third party keyboards? "Swype" on my iPhone? Now we're talking.
  25. I enjoyed the phone call to Dr. Dre.
