  1. You honestly don't need an icon, you'll just know. The icon is just a cool visual addition.
  2. It's all random, from what I can tell. Some areas I get bounced around, and other areas I'm stuck on g-block PCS with 100kbps speeds. It's not fully optimized, but it sure handles traffic better than when we only had g-block 25 alone.
  3. Nothing yet here in Chicago... Sorry, I just had to.
  4. That's 10 minutes from me, and I can say with certainty that you are experiencing the effects of traffic being divided amongst 3 5x5mhz LTE carriers. It benefits everyone; spark device or not.
  5. I'm at my friend's annual barbecue in Orland Hills where I've never had Sprint LTE service. This year, I'm bouncing between fringe 41 and a solid 26. I'm quite happy with Sprint these days.
  6. No it didn't. I swear I upgraded to 7 from 6. How could they ship a phone with an os that was out 2 days before the device? It didn't ship with a beta.
  7. Whenever I get a new iPhone, I usually wait until .1 to grab the next generation iOS. I ran 6.x for awhile on my 5s before upgrading.
  8. That's the reason I've been dabbling on the android side for 6 months. I got bored and needed the larger screen for work, and band 41. I love my m8, but still switch back to my iPhone 5s at least once a week.
  9. Have you checked your engineering screen? Do you have a triband device? Let us know what band or carrier you're connected to. There is a possibility of that particular tower just not getting hammered with traffic, but who knows.
  10. By asking Sprint tech support nicely. The only thing you can change on the m8 is the LTE scan timer. Band scan priority can't be changed on this phone.
  11. It's 11:30pm. Try that same spot at noon.
  12. Yeah, they look chrome. I wonder why these are up? Someone said it earlier, and it's true. This phone is the worst kept secret ever. But it's phone porn for us Apple fans.
  13. The push to amazon was definitely an accident since it's now gone. They probably have some kind of automated posting system, and the iphone stuff accidentally made it's way into the rotation.
  14. Well, since Spigen is a very respectable case manufacturer, and the fact that these manufacturers get phone specs months before release in preparation, I would say this picture is almost a guarantee on the appearance.
  15. Oh, you're right. It's hard to tell with that case on it. I like the elongated buttons, and the side power button. Both of those phones are supposedly the 4.7", right?
  16. Looks like the exact same shell. I was starting to dig those rounded sides concept pictures. Just a larger iPhone 5/5s. Oh well, I'm still buying it. Just please give at least double the battery mAH.
  17. Can you post it here? Looks like they've been taken down.
  18. Yep. That's one thing that annoys me about the m8.
  19. I'm betting on both. One thing Apple excels at is LTE band support, and I can definitely see them implementing CA. The technology is available.
  20. That's why I always have two newer phones. To use one while I'm selling the other to pay for the next device.
  21. Mid-September can't come soon enough
  22. At least we're finally seeing it on an ios device. I highly doubt this would remain a T-Mobile only feature after release.
  23. I usually only go with my brother, who also has Sprint, so comparing other carriers will be difficult. We're both big aviation fans, and good data on the beach is important. Twitter updates on which planes are departing Gary airport and headed downtown, and the streaming cockpit audio. At least this year, my m8 has an actual radio built-in for the show's broadcast. One less thing to carry on that hot, humid mile walk to the beach.
