  1. I think this is where the damaged Sprint brand continues to be a drag. The new CMO needs to figure out how to get this patched up.
  2. They only airport I've seen Sprint blow away competition is O'Hare... regularly over 100 down.
  3. Yeah, they seemed to imply that NGN spend will be heavily influenced by your local governments. So stay on top of them as permits go through. I have a feeling that permitting for 'small cells' is going to look a lot different than macro sites and it will be harder to track. Although, every local government will be different. I can only image what people will do when they learn those small little boxes on their power/street lights/etc are mini cell towers. NIMBY galore.
  4. They reiterated that they are working on Sprint to resolve 'edge' issues on today's earnings call. They expect to take control of Ntelos on May 6th with the following day as the launch of the newly enlarged 'Shentel.' When they mentioned 'expanding their footprint' I wonder if they are trying to go after Western Loudon county where Sprint is notoriously weak. Maybe State Road 15 could be the new border between Gainesville and Mt. Weather. Anyways, I do love quarterly investor calls. http://edge.media-server.com/m/p/az6idktr
  5. Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I noticed they added 'LTE Roaming' for the Nexus 5x on Sprint's coverage maps. Nothing on Wifi Calling though.
  6. Based on Shentel's most recent presentation to us shareholders, they have budgeted the CAPEX to upgrade the Ntelos network for this year. I'd guess they at least get 80% of it done, but knowing Shentel's historical expertise I bet they get it all done this year. The formal acquisition should close in the next week or so. I look forward to seeing my Ntelos stock cashed out.
  7. Potentially, I know FB has used Sprint for their corporate hotspots for a while. Even during the dark times.
  8. Short messages via the WAP browser?
  9. Sorry if I missed this, but is Sprint clear to launch B26 in the Detroit area? I thought the last holdout along the Canadian border was in the Pacific Northwest. I haven't cared as much about the mitten until I met my better half.
  10. Nominal changes in the District as noted in the DMV Premiere Sponsor thread. Permits were filed for a couple of full conversions and a tower move to the new Safeway development in Petworth. That should hopefully strengthen LTE coverage in that area and surprisingly parts of the Wardman Apartment complex in 16th Street Heights.
  11. Yep, you and half of the DC metro area that head to Rehoboth, Bethany, etc.
  12. Well since they aren't printing cash, yes money is an issue and they directing resources to where it will help the most. I suspect that they will get the eastern shore beaches and their driving routes up to snuff this summer and leave it at that for the time being.
  13. Be open to the spirit of exploration and wonder. #LPCourage #EasterWonder - Great sermon by @KarenBrau!

  15. They might if the device gains native WiFi calling support through the Marshmallow upgrade. Especially if it could lower licensing and infrastructure costs.
  16. RT @acptachi: If for some reason you have not seen it yet, this is the leaked bracket. #MarchMadness https://t.co/8QWRzntbZM
