  1. If you dig a little bit deeper into the forums and wall posts, you'll understand that this is how NV is supposed to work. In essence, the network proactively decides which band your device should be on taking into account the devices capabilities and network needs. So if B25 is overloaded with a bunch of single band users while B41 is humming along, the network would tell your device to pickup and move. Although, depending on the level of 'constantly,' it could be a variety of factors.
  2. They are probably testing it with a certain percentage of visitors to see how they interact with it. I bet in the next few months we will see it take hold across the enterprise. Hopefully, this will coincide with a redesign of the front and back ends of MySprint.
  3. For a call center maybe, but maybe this is a HQ move? Talent needs are much different if it is a HQ move. All pure speculation though. I have a feeling this is really just the launch of the new Sprint - showcasing what Sprint can DELIVER with the right resources.
  4. Hey @RCNconnects, I want @Pivot_TV on my channel lineup in Washington, DC. #GetPivot http://t.co/6Ax8cU6WDk

  5. Yeah, I've always had a lag issue with Play updates even on my fancy home wifi.
  6. Could your areas just be getting the tower software update? The issues seem a bit more dramatic than what I experienced though.
  7. Verizon phones do have better coverage, but it has certainly deteriorated since PowerWave half converted the network. Now all of carriers are sort of in limbo....
  8. Would love to see @Sprint be first to market with a reliable @wmata network. http://t.co/Khnqgmefja

  12. From a purely financial resource perspective, I hope they let would Shentel carry that weight.
  13. Yeah, just remember to invest with a five year outlook. Unless, the company could possibly not exist (American Apparel) in a few months, but those stocks are fun ways to increase blood pressure.
  14. North Face? It is ALL about the Patagonia and Barbour now.
  15. This is all speculation, but as noted in the article it will rely on a multitude of factors. In terms of Maryland, I could see little growth in Western Maryland (do people still live there? ), but places like southeastern Frederick receiving new towers due to the suburbanization along I-270.
  16. Lies - Frederick will NEVER have LTE... muwahhaha
  17. I agree with the original, original author's post about how it isn't clear what Sprint would do if the phone is damaged while deployed. I also certainly agree about fraud protection and think there is a better way to mitigate that. Either flag their account for overuse or limit to once a month/quarter.
  18. Apparently the one unlock every 12 months is the issue, which I tend to agree with them on.
  19. Nice that it goes official - hope they continue to rock the B41 and backhaul improvements. I'll loan out my RCN cable service if it helps.
  20. What do you mean? You don't like the 5x5 square box from 2006? At least they upgraded the map source, so hopefully they are working on a new coverage map tool for the public.
  21. Finally received the update - quite pleased with the new WiFi calling app. Much more refined and stable than the first version.
  22. Which direction are you heading? If you are taking 81 south through Harrisonburg to Tennessee expect ntelos pain until Glade Spring, VA. **Well JohnnyP beat me, safe travels**
