  1. It works sometimes for me but others have had worse luck with it...they're definitely trying...
  2. Is MMS over wifi available on any other carrier on the iPhone?
  3. I've tested that. It works seamlessly. MMS does not work though...
  4. https://www.sprint.com/landings/international-value-roaming/?ECID=vanity:internationalroaming
  5. The phone determines when the wifi conditions are inadequate and hands you over accordingly from my observations. I purposefully went into a room with a sporty wifi connection.
  6. I'll get another video tomorrow when I can grab someone else's phone to call.
  7. For all of those who want to see the wifi calling to CDMA smooth handoff in action I posted a secret YouTube video of it:
  8. By me . It does not always work though. I want to say it's worked about 70% of the time on my iPhone 6S.
  9. And I'm in the Kirkland/Bellevue/Redmond area so I'll be watching closely as well!
  10. AT&T actually only has 30mhz of WCS, a 10x10 block and 10mhz unpaired.
  11. Possibly...if you're on wifi and you keep clicking that field until you get to "IMS Status" what does it say?
  12. It should. Go to settings>general>about and scroll down to the "Carrier" field. What does it say?
  13. They can and only pay for a small amount of microwave bandwidth until use increases to the point they need to scale up. I would install the LTE1900 card as part of the initial install because we all know it won't get done otherwise (Sprint seems to have a lot of permitting issues).
  14. Just expand with NV panels - 1x800, LTE800 and LTE1900. In fact, if I'm not mistaking, I think LTE1900 can be 4x4 MIMO without 1x/EV1900.
  15. Public safety in Washington has until December 31st to clear the 800mhz band. Canada is already clear. I'm hoping to see some 800mhz antennae going up soon.
  16. According to my engineer, most GMOs in Seattle use RF combiners which limit the B25 bandwidth to 5x5.
  17. An interesting observation I've made recently is that AT&T B30 range is a lot worse than Sprint B41 range. At a tower I frequent, AT&T and Sprint/Clear are set up with the same sector alignment, the Clear cells being a few inches above the AT&T ones. AT&T's B30 dies when Sprint B41 is still at -102 to -108. Is this by design or is AT&T's equipment not that great or what?
  18. Will do. If we can get our GMOs to 10x10 it would make life a lot better in Seattle.
