  1. hello i am here to start a htread for the ipad 9.7 inch 2017 edition
  2. Does anyone know the latest on WiFi Calling Support for iOS, and why it hasn't launched yet? Sprint's CFO made an announcement back on December 2, 2014 that it would launch in 60-90 days, but it's been radio silence since. What's going on?
  3. So, we all know about the lovely iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus User thread, and there are many different device focused threads across S4GRU, but there are none for us older iPhone users. So, why should they get to have all the fun? This thread is dedicated to anything and everything about our beautiful (Spark-less) iPhone 5's and 5S's. Discuss anything like jailbreaks, hardware problems, how much you love your device, how great it is to have at least one LTE band compared to the folks who still have 4's and 4S's, ask questions and maybe you can get some answers, etc. etc. Discuss! -
  4. Needed almost 7 GB free (ouch) to download it. Downloading now...
  5. Just in case you'll didn't already know. And it requires 1.9 Gb of free space and I think it's a 239 mb download
  6. I know someone on here might be able to help, but I have a Sprint iPad mini (1st gen) and I have been swapping between my Sprint SIM card that came with the device and a TMobile SIM. This past time when I reinstalled the Sprint SIM I was able to purchase data, but then the reprovisioning kept failing. I cannot use the data. I tried resetting the iPad completely, and that did not work. I restored the iPad as new and that also did not work. I also noticed that the iPad kept going from Sprint 3G to 1x over and over, even in an area with full LTE. I called Sprint support and they said that t
  7. With the FCC and Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon have agreed to this new unlocking policy. How does this effect sprint phones such as the IPhone. I have heard that Sprint can unlock your phone but you can not take it to other carriers such as Verizon and the IPhone can only be used overseas. (Correct me if I am wrong). I am glad that this has finally happened. But when it comes to Sprint how would this work?
  8. 9to5Mac link So the iPhone 5c starts at $0 and the iPhone 5s starts at $99 for new customers on contract.
  9. my iphone alwasy has issues sending pictures.. weather its 3G with full bars or even WiFi... could this be hardware related?
  10. Some pretty nice changes to iOS. Airdrop looks pretty useful for sharing photos with nearby friends. I like the improved integration between Maps and Calendar and being able to add travel time quickly to an event. The app drawer from dragging from the bottom. About freaking time! I missed being able to quickly turn on/off wifi/bt from my Android days. iTunes Radio looks like a Pandora/Spotify killer. Plus there are zero ads if you are a iTunes Match subscriber. Looking forward to the Fall. Glad it supports iPhone 4 and up and iPad 2 and up.
  11. I do not know if there is already a thread for this but I left Sprint back in June due to the horrible speeds after 10 years with them I went to T-Mobile. I plan on switching back before the year is over once NV is more blanketed in Ohio more so Columbus OH. But for anyone who has a good amount of LTE in their state, How are you LTE speeds. Currently I am pulling in 30mbps on T-Mobile which is nice but I do not need all that. So how are Sprint's LTE speeds and how consistent are they?
  12. I was just wondering if anyone has traveled internationally with the iPad mini or iPhone 5. I know the iPhone 5 is locked to Sprint, but you can call and get it unlocked. I have never swapped a sim card out, mainly because Sprint never had them, but I am wondering if it really is that simple. Do you just swap the sim and then purchase a new data plan? I know Digicell in Bermuda sells nano sim cards for pay as your go 3G. I have heard that Sprint iPads can be used on AT&T wireless, just no LTE. Is there any truth to this?
  13. BGR is either really full of it, or on to something, citing a user on Weibo: iPhone 5S: New leaked photos, purported full specs point to biggest ‘S’ upgrade ever I can't wait to upgrade my 4S, if anything, for the better battery. After 18 months, I can barely keep a charge past noon.
  14. Pretty cool accessibility feature that was Android-first, now on iOS:
  15. Sorry to announce but I am no longer doing UDID activations. I sold quite a few activations on here and was happy to help you all get updated. I may be back soon with more UDID activation opportunities so keep your eyes posted on the forums.
  16. Honest opinion, once sprint is near complete with the Network Vision build out do you guys think that sprint will still offer unlimited data? I know with lte comes increased usage and because of that do you think sprint may turn to data limits to keep the network from being hit to hard?
  17. Get it while you can if you're an iOS user. Universal app for iPhone and iPad. http://appshopper.com/social-networking/tapatalk It's the original version 1, but that's still the one I use.
  18. Just wondering what are your guy's thoughts on Apple's iOS 7 announcement this morning? I'm pretty excited
  19. Anyone else with the iOS 6 beta noticing any speed performance increase? It feels like everything loads instantly especially on safari!
  20. I had a prompt for a Carrier Update yesterday on my iPhone 5. Any idea what it did?
  21. Anyone interested in getting iOS 6 but need their UDID registered or the download links just send me a message and I will be able to help!
  22. Interesting read. It gives a little perspective to these patent lawsuits against Android devices. http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-really-is-going-to-try-to-kill-google-2012-6
  23. by Scott Johnson Sprint 4G Rollout Updates Thursday, March 15, 2012 - 12:51 PM MDT The 7 inch form factor for the tablet PC was largely understated up until the Kindle Fire’s release last year. There were the expensive high end Android offerings from Samsung, Dell, Acer, Toshiba and HTC as well as the Blackberry Playbook. The inexpensive end was headlined by the Kindle Fire, Barnes and Noble Nook and Lenovo. Sales were underwhelming, until the Kindle Fire caught everyone’s attention and sold millions of units. Now, we have what may be shaping up to be a faceoff between iOS and Androi
