  1. well...... i would think that if it were going to be released in the next week we would have heard something by now
  2. $445.68 after taxes and fees. thats for 9 lines all on the same account on the same framily plan. 2 of the lines have unlimited data and 5 of the lines currently have a phone payment. there is also a $5/mo fee for a tablet in there too.
  3. well that won't be too bad i guess, assuming the flex 2 gets released in February and the M9 in march.
  4. ugh, HTC why do you have to wait so long to announce! i would be interested to see what HTC has to offer, especially if they come out with a new MAX version, but with my easy pay unlimited framily yearly upgrade coming up the first of February if the Flex 2 comes out before the new HTC phone i don't know if i'll want to wait on it instead of just getting the Flex 2..... the longer i wait to upgrade past the year the more it feels like i'm wasting money then
  5. thanks all for the correction! i searched the thread for "discount" and found some posts saying the corp discounts didn't work on the share pack so wanted to make sure
  6. someone correct me if i'm wrong, but when they introduced the family share pack discounts no longer worked on the data portion, correct???? if so it looks like they changed that. I just got an email about the family share pack that said i could get the 20 gig one for $82/mo after my 18% discount.....
  7. my guess would be 2/6/15. i got the flex on release day last year which if i remember right was 2/7/14. I haven't heard any official dates yet but i would guess in february sometime.
  8. Just an FYI and something to look at while we wait for this phone to be released FCC Flex test numbers FCC Flex 2 test numbers i know the numbers don't always translate to real world performance, but the Flex 2 does appear to follow the trend of focusing on B41. B25/26 appear to be roughly the same.
  9. same here, my yearly upgrade is up on 2/1/15, so unless HTC comes out with a new phone that wows me between now and the Flex 2 being available, i'll be getting this phone
  10. just to add, while confirmation of towers having B26 (which is LTE on 800) is on the premier maps, any tower on the NV complete map that lists 800 (1x800 for voice) most likely already has B26 on it, or will be getting it by the end of this year. sprint is going hard on getting B26 everywhere and if a tower has 1x800 it can get B26.
  11. comparing the graph posted in this thread to the graph in this article http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-373-teaser-x-marks-the-spot-for-the-first-sprint-ccarrpp-fully-compliant-handset/ it looks like the flex 2 is fully CCA compliant.
  12. based on what i can tell by the graph that was posted, yes it is fully CCA compliant and will work with USCC LTE. I'm in the same boat you are in that would be a huge boost to sprint around here if it comes to pass my yearly upgrade is up in february (have the 1st flex), hopefully this is out by then as i will most likely be getting it
  13. yes please! with those specs i think i will be able to overlook the reduction in screen size
  14. thats literally all that turbo means, the order to increase the speed of the backhaul has gone through and is active so B41 can run at full speed. Spark = B41 signal is being broadcast, Turbo = backhaul has been increased so B41 can hit ~80meg download speeds (assuming all other factors are favorable for those speeds).
  15. spark means B41 is available, spark turbo means the backhaul has been increased so B41 can run at full speed.
  16. cool, i'm by no means an expert, but because of the aura surrounding sprint lately i would guess that it will continue to go down until the earnings report. with all the news of sprint adding subs left and right and V and AT&T starting to lose subs the earnings report almost has to be positive which will hopefully give the stock a nice bump..... just my 2 cents
  17. when is the next earnings report?
  18. yeah, not a whole lot and i'm guessing "google security fixes" meant break root methods :/
  19. international wifi calling and google security fixes.
  20. nope, no clearwire in my area, just 3 protection sites that are still only wimax and aren't anywhere close to where i was when the screenshot was taken. in my area i'm down to 2 possibilities for the unknown PCI..... 1) the sprint sites are broadcasting some phantom/unused PCI that my phone sometimes sees 2) i'm picking up PCI from another carrier around here.
  21. speaking of "phantom" neighboring cell sites..... with the beta using locations now i went through my signal check database and added the exact coordinates for the tower locations to all my logged GCI/PCI entries along with a strongest signal of -40 so they wouldn't get overwritten. now when neighboring cells show it lists the site notes regardless of TAC and the distance and direction to the tower is accurate so after doing that i caught an example of PCI's that don't belong to sprint towers. the tower i'm connected to was about .3 miles from me and i was looking right at it when i took that screenshot. the 162 PCI is also an accurate PCI for a sprint tower. PCI 405 does not list a site note because its not a sprint site around me, plus look at that signal strength. the last PCI of 275 does list a site note, but as you can see the location it lists is in Boone and was 25.16 miles away from me, and with that signal strength i can say with certainty that it was also not coming from a sprint site. i still continue to see the 233 PCI i posted about before when i'm at work, just waiting for my work verizon S4 and a coworkers USCC Note 2 to get updated so they display the PCI to see if its coming from those carriers or not.
  22. just a heads up to the few users out there on this phone got prompted for the ZV9 update this morning. went ahead and applied it and as expected, lost root. however this time none of the current root methods are working. so if you want to keep root don't update to ZV9 yet!
  23. did anything change with the latest beta and displaying SNR while connected to LTE? i updated this morning and noticed that i'm not showing SNR anymore.
  24. unless location service turns off on a reboot it should have still been enabled. i completely forgot that uninstalling would wipe my DB so i'm working off an old backup now that doesn't have as many locations in it. i've since also tested restarting again and its working fine now. so the only conclusions i can come to is either it was a one time fluke, or my location hadn't been picked up yet so it wasn't showing anything and if i would have waited longer it would have started working.
  25. anyone heard any news on a One Max replacement coming down the pipe?
