  1. Maybe that's because the xbox is "always on"? Which means, even in stand-by mode, it's using pretty much just as much power as it uses when in use. -Anthony
  2. Here's something interesting. If you happen to go past the AutoZone on Highway 49 at Morehead road, look at the second from the top rack of the tower right there. It looks like a 1900/800 panel and a 8t8r Band 41 panel have been added to the tower. I think Sprint may have changed that to a full NV tower. If so, it is not broadcasting, yet. Hope to find out soon! -Anthony
  3. I guess my family is part of the top 5% of wired... http://imgur.com/3MVtdFz -Anthony
  4. Oh I'm not saying it makes sense, because it doesn't. I was just pointing out the fact that he already mentioned LTE Only Mode. -Anthony
  5. He stated in his original post that it doesn't work even when it is in LTE Only Mode. -Anthony
  6. That's only when engaging in prohibited activities, not normal web usage. -Anthony
  7. To get rid of inventory, duh! (I kid, I kid) -Anthony
  8. He seems to posess the ability to occasionally NOT be a dick... But only occasionally -Anthony
  9. I couldn't agree with you more. People don't seem to realize yet that the Sprint we know now is nothing like the Sprint from the Nextel merger. We need to get that painful memory out of our heads and get the heck over it, because it is not going to happen again. Especially with Softbank in the passenger seat making sure Sprint drives well. -Anthony
  10. My mother is going to be accepting a position in a new hospital that is being opened over there. I believe it is a Manager of Clinical educators. When they first heard about it they were kind of skeptical about the whole thing, but they researched it further and found out that Qatar is actually a pretty nice, modern area... And the first $99,990 of your salary you make there is completely tax-free. -Anthony
  11. Well, thought this would be good for my sister and I because our parents are moving to Qatar later this year, but Qatar isn't included. Just my luck -Anthony
  12. We have two hallways in my high school in Harrisburg, NC (just northeast of Charlotte) and I'm usually roaming on Verizon with 4-5 bars of 1x. Just looked at my phone, it said it was on Sprint with a -103 signal of 1x. Checked the engineering screens and it is on 1x800, SID 22438, Band Class 10. Looks like we're starting to have some publicly available 800 Voice in Charlotte! -Anthony
  13. Not just while doing the speed limit. I imagine he would stay in the left lane while people pass him on the right, too. -Anthony
  14. That's awesome! Maybe they'll do the same here in Charlotte too! -Anthony
  15. Aww crap, that's right! I knew it was included in one of the two. -Anthony
  16. I think the 900 MHz band is included in Band 26. So, assuming that is correct, then Sprint wouldn't need to seed new phones to customers that already have Band 26 capable devices. -Anthony
  17. I convinced my Dad to buy 500 shares (100 for me, 400 for him) last week when they were up at 8.50ish. Good thing we're gonna be holding the shares for a while. -Anthony
  18. I think what everyone is trying to say about bidding on AWS is: what's the point? Sprint already has 120 MHz or more of 2500/2600 MHz in most markets in the U.S., so we know there won't be any kind of capacity problems in the future. All the equipment is already being deployed for band 41 by Sprint, and they already have devices that support it. Why go through the effort of spending billions on (basically) redundant spectrum, when you can just save all of your billions for the 600 MHz auction, which is spectrum that Sprint very badly needs, and use some more of your millions/billions you saved to build that out? Every cent that Sprint would use to bid for AWS is one cent less than what they would have available for bidding on 600. Moral of the story? AWS to Sprint, in my mind, is redundant and not needed if you consider their BRS/EBS holdings, and 600 is damn near a necessity. -Anthony
  19. I've been hearing that the huge battery improvements have been for people that have iPhone 5's. iOS 7 really killed the battery life that people were seeing on iOS 6, and now people are reporting that on their iPhone 5's on iOS 7.1.1 that they are seeing better than iOS 6 battery life. -Anthony
  20. A year ago I couldn't even make a phone call without an Airave. Now I have HD Voice and LTE throughout my whole market. I'm not complaining. -Anthony
  21. I think you may have had your phone unlocked for INTERNATIONAL use, not DOMESTIC use, which is what people are having a problem with. Correct me if I am wrong in my assumption. -Anthony
