  1. Something magical just happend! Sprint fired up another B41 site, I now no longer jump to B25 at home, I bounce between Clear B41 and Sprint B41....WOW! just WOW!
  2. Im pretty sure that the sprint site was closer...
  3. Sprint B41... Speeds between 15-30mb, friend on ATT only saw HSPA+
  4. At target on 116th st east side. Throughout the whole store in door Sprint B41. Awesome!
  5. Ive had a decent experience with data there before. Maybe just an influx of shoppers.
  6. Your picking up 3G from a much further away tower.
  7. Every new iteration of a Sprint Tri band phone is better than last, as Robert mentioned. I can vouch for this personally, G2's radio is ok, but the G3's is exceptional, definitely worth the extra investment.
  8. I dont remember the last time i was on 3G for longer than a few minutes, no matter where I test in the Bronx or Manhattan or west NY those are the speeds I typically see. But again, I stress when I am on B25 my speeds are more like 2mb-12mb(But im mostly on B41).. So best case scenario your seeing those kind of speeds..
  9. Sounds like you need to move on to another carrier...But this is what I get everywhere I go in NYC. But good luck in your situation... I would not call this a Flop, in fact smokes all my Tmobile and Att buddies...
  10. Actually it is true that Network Vision 1.0 is mostly complete over 40K sites have been upgraded (that doesn't necessarily include backhauled sites, so it does include 3G only sites just waiting to be upgraded), no lies there, also we have established before that there are 3 towers in your area that have not been touched for who knows what reason, you aren't the only one in that situation. but I'm sure its something that is out of Sprints control. Also, I hope you have a tri band device, without it service would be very limited to put it lightly.
  11. In NYC, its almost everywhere, the B41 network is very dense. I tend to hold B41 90% of the time moving all over NYC. Too many variables to say distance from one particular tower, but more or less about 70% of a B25 site covers. EDIT: OH, speeds!? That's EZ, 80mbs is just about the highest possible with a non CA device. Currently only the Note Edge supports Sprint CA cable of peak's around 150mbs. After Sprint turns on the 3rd carrier (sometime next year) expect peak speeds of just above 200mbs.
  12. Average between 25-40mbs tops out around 75mbs...
  13. I've tested most of the clear sites that went down today and they are all back up and some more 8t8r. Performance today has been extremely impressive.
  14. Cool video doing the Sim swap plus speed test, its becoming clear that ATT has deployed CA, nice showing by Sprint, Verizon...ha Nexus 6 Speed Test on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint:
  15. I didn't notice any issues previously in that specific area, but just south of that area, where I did have an issue, It seems to be back to online.
  16. Looks like the Clear sites issue have been Cleared up (no Pun intended) at least for 4 sites that were an issue for me before.
  17. Hit three new 8t8r sites , from 65th street 5th ave all the way down to 50th and 6th. Awesome to pick up some B41 while waiting on the longest street meat line of all time Halal Guys. Best Halal in NYC for sure.
  18. 3-5mb on 3-5mb on B41 is really slow, I had some speed issues for a few days last month, and it went back to normal now (20-50mb), There are a bunch of sites with 0 transfer. I have found at least 10 sites.
  19. Same here, its not all of the sites, but enough to cause some serious disruption while going around Manhattan. I could deal with slow speeds sub 1mb if need be, but considering that the N6 has no way of disabling Bands, switching to 3G during peak times really is not an option.
  20. That is a good idea, post a link here when you do. I will add locations Ive found.
  21. Take it back, the Clear sites are still down!!!! Found 2 more in midtown and downtown
