  1. Picked up one from Best Buy today, attempted to price match and almost succeeded but they wanted to see the word Sprint somewhere on Google's store and we couldn't find it. Looking forward to playing with it but may wait until Monday since my local store is doing an exchange on my One for cracks around the power button.
  2. That would make sense but what about Erricson, I look at Birmingham on the sponsor map everytime you post an update and they don't seem to be in clusters, whenever they upgrade a tower to 4G a few weeks later is 4G/3G, grouping seems to have no bearing. I haven't paid attention to other markets but Memphis seems to be the same way.
  3. Thanks, that's pretty significant in itself. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks Robert. Have you heard anything about band 26 in SouthernLinc territory by chance, specifically Birmingham, AL? I am trying to talk myself into a triband phone but am not finding any reasons right now. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
  5. Would the other 10% of us be in SouthernLinc's native coverage area? Minus Atlanta who I would think will see some band 41 love.
  6. Ummm SMS in Hangouits work's with Google Voice. Sprint has GV integration, the other carriers don't but as is typical it is reported as not working because nobody thinks about Sprint.
  7. Ouch! 1GB of data on a smartphone $90!
  8. Is SouthernLINC's native coverage area being excluded from the 800mhz rollout? I understand there may not be enough spectrum for LTE in this area but some 1x would be nice. Building penetration is absolutely horrible in many buildings in downtown Birmingham and there are a ton of commonly traveled areas throughout Alabama that experience call drops from transferring back and forth to roaming. I assume Atlanta is in much better shape than us do to the sheer number of towers but surely they have some issues with building penetration too.
  9. uh60james83 reference s4gru if adding me
  10. For those that have done the OTA or flashed the newest radio from the update, notice any difference? Better, worse signal, drops, etc?
  11. I really hope this doesn't happen. I wish HTC would have realized that there marketing sucked, naming schemes are jacked and piss poor advertising surely are a large factor. Day one with my One at work I was told by a coworker that AT&T had the one for free, they were talking about one of last years models. Another coworker asked me if I used facebook so much that I needed the facebook phone (HTC First.) I am the only person I know locally that even has a One, and I think that is due to marketing. Motorola I need you to release some bad ass phones for a carrier other than VZW if this happens.
  12. It does nothing, I will try clearing app data and cache and give it another shot next time I go outside. On a side note, not paying attention I accidentaly clicked report and typed my reply into that box. I'm sure the mod's will figure out I just wasn't paying attention when they read it. Edit: Aaannnnd Dkoellerwx caught it!
  13. I still like it but I did find a problem. My current location goes underneath the news feed on the map when moving. If there is a way to get rid of the news feed I guess it's not a problem but I can't figure out a way to hide it.
  14. I happen to like the new app, it appears I'm in the minority. My only gripe is the maps are less accurate in rural areas (near me anyway) but they do seem to be fine in the city I work in.
  15. Visual improvements look good in the screenshots, wish I would have got on the forum yesterday so I could have gotten in on this. Looking forward to the release!
  16. Smartphone line access is $60. 2GB Data, with unlimited voice and SMS is $40. That is the $100 figure. The $80 plan would be line access $60 and 500mb data $20. Even being stuck on Sprint's craptastic 3G I would use up 500mb in about a week. So unless you really use your phone for data very lightly I don't think that is much of an option hence why they used the 2GB plan for the chart. I assume the AT&T plan is 2GB of data as well but I haven't looked into it. T-Mobile is 2.5GB at full speed and throttled after for $60. As far as the insurance I believe the only one that includes it in the pricing is T-Mobile.
  17. Enjoy it Robert, I lived in Spearfish for several years, it's a beautiful place.
  18. Am I reading right that existing customers must be between 12 and 19 months into a contract to participate?
  19. I can't wait to see what 4G will be like
  20. Re: The OP, something like this? http://cc.bingj.com/cache.aspx?q=Samsung+Replenish+Solar+Charging+Cover&d=5008199216138487&mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&w=MX74xGliy-zld1IXZKUA5KK9j54cIsnF
