  1. Thanks for checking, have to try it on another device and see if I can get it to work.
  2. I can no longer view the coverage map showing coverage by device, anybody else? If Sprint is trying to be sneaky now I would think this would actually cause more complaints since the standard data roaming map shows near nationwide coverage.
  3. My tablet is actually showing that I can switch it to a business fusion plan although it is not a business account. Checked available plans for my phone and unfortunately wasn't offered any plans to switch to.
  4. This is weird. Samsung Galaxy S5 and the LG G Flex both show the same crap almost non-existent roaming data coverage. LG G2, Nexus 5 and HTC One M7 show nationwide data roaming coverage.
  5. I've been having some issues with no roaming data lately myself. I decided to visit sprint.com/coverage and select the HTC One M8. I have noticed that for some reason our device is excluded from the majority of nationwide roaming. If you select the HTC One M7 for example roaming data returns to the map. An example, the light pink or purple you see on the left edge is data roaming in Mississippi. The surrounding states indicate none for the M8.
  6. That's interesting. I wonder if Sprint deployed a software fix around the same time I flashed the PRL. My connection has remained good since yesterday. Previously couldn't make it more than a couple hours without a reboot. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  7. I don't know how to explain it but I think I resolved my issues with losing data and missing calls by flashing PRL 56018. Does that PRL completely omit the 800 and 2600 LTE channels?
  8. Just checked mine and no scratches, smooth all the way around.
  9. Link for those interested. https://community.sprint.com/baw/mobile/mobile-access.jspa#jive-discussion?content=%2Fapi%2Fcore%2Fv2%2Fdiscussions%2F155906 Sounds like you can manually initiate it today and it will start automatically rolling out tomorrow.
  10. I believe it is a cached list of sites your phone has connected to LTE on. It can be accessed from ##DATA# Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  11. No connection issues today and no LTE: EMM-65535 messages. No idea if it was something Sprint did on their end since I complained about a specific tower or if it's because I cleared the LTE available file and turned off the connection optimizer. Either way I have been much happier with my new phone today. I would say it's worth trying what I did if you are having issues.
  12. Having issues here too, non Spark market. Do you ever have an error message pop up? Paynefanbro and myself have both seen an LTE error message I posted a few pages back. I have turned off the connection optimizer or whatever Sprint is calling it and I'm going to clear LTE available file in ##DATA# and see if it makes any difference. Sprint is blaming it on a tower but I'm not convinced that's it as I connected to that tower every weekday with my Nexus 5 and never had an issue. They state the "tower is reporting low numbers and will be reported to the network team" whatever that means.
  13. There is a more thorough article on this somewhere but now I cannot locate it. It mentioned city wide wifi in Google Fiber markets and using a national carrier outside of them. I can't see VZW being interested in this at all. Why help somebody erode your own user base.
  14. I never meant to imply that they only had the option of one or the other just stating why I believed they decided on landscape mode. There are definitely other options and I'm not sure of the cost associated with them but I would imagine it would be fairly minimal.
  15. That's the way the screen was designed then. There are a couple different ways to approach the issue and it appears HTC concluded that the best use case would be to allow viewing in landscape mode as most people will use polarized glasses while driving and you would still be able to see a nav app with the phone docked on your dash. Here's a fun article that kind of gives an idea about how LCD's and polarization work and why you can't see LCD's properly with polarized glasses (they are already polarized). http://lifehacker.com/5862795/hack-an-old-lcd-monitor-into-a-polarized-privacy-monitor/all
  16. That is a common issue with LCD displays and polarized glasses. It is possible that previous LCD displays on phones you guys have used something to compensate for that like a circular polarization filter. I'm curious, does this happen in both landscape and portrait mode? IPads will do this in portrait mode and not landcape, I may have that backwards.
  17. You might have to wait awhile, VZW already has this color so it may ended up being exclusive to them for some time.
  18. I am missing one or two but this is most of them. Sanyo SCP-4900 Moto Razr V3 Moto Q9C BB Curve 8330 HTC Evo 4G HTC Evo 3D HTC One (M7) Nexus 5 HTC One (M8)
  19. Ok,thanks. Hopefully it doesn't come back for me either then. By resetting it I really just meant pop it out and put it back in thinking maybe it wasn't seated all the way.
  20. Has anyone else got this error? I lost data completely after seeing it. Powered off and reset the SIM and I'm back up now. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  21. I'm not sure they actually serve a purpose for us. In theory the SIM can be locked out until you enter the PIN. If you have forgotten PIN the PUK can be used to reset it. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  22. The status updates are basically worthless, your phone probably hasn't been in Sprint's hands at all. UPS handles almost all of Sprint's orders in Louisville. I'm not really sure why the status can be so wrong since UPS is generally pretty accurate but I experienced some frustration with that status last year and let Sprint know about it, when I got home my phone was waiting for me. The status still hadn't changed.
  23. Sprint surely got tired of people using the PRL to force constant roaming on VZW 3G.
  24. Actually probably not, I forgot about that. My numbers are end of year 2013. The quarterly data should be available in a few days.
