  1. Interesting, So then what's the maximum theoretical download on a MHz TDD carrier?
  2. I'm surprised it would affect 20 MHz of TDD since that's half of 20 MHz FDD, which is where the main gains in Cat 4 are.
  3. Uh, Eric, 9x15 was the original modem in the S4. You mean like this? http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2040-bars-lie-for-lte-signal-strength-how-to-determine-your-actual-lte-signal-strength/
  4. While AJ is, of course, correct we have no indication that this is a new modem, either. Also, I don't think there's any reason 9x15 modems can't be Sprint Tri band.
  5. Was the AT&T LTE on PCS or 700? Also, am I the only that finds it odd that on Android Speedtest it says "Mbps" but on iOS it says "Megabits"?
  6. Once AT&T opens it's big, fat checkbook, you don't tell it "no thanks"
  7. I doubt they'll want to swap, AT&T will probably just buy it from Sprint.
  8. Don't get your hopes up and, as I've said what seems like a hundred times, 600 MHz is a mess.
  9. I just like how Sprint owns both the A and B block in Dallas.
  10. Not quite, C and D blocks are unusable due to SDARS http://www.extremetech.com/electronics/131316-att-and-sirius-xm-propose-rules-to-allow-lte-on-wcs
  11. Are you looking at post nextwave acquisition WCS holdings?

  13. Ehh FDD VS. TDD is kind of a hot topic, but both have their strength and weaknesses. Also, Yes is if Sprint got some 600 MHz it would be quad band.
  14. Sprint originally wanted TDD for 600 MHz but it's abandoned that plan because no one else wanted it. Also, I believe that TDD isn't well suited for these lower frequencies.
  15. Just think of it as a chunk of spectrum, Sprint can't deploy a larger carrier because of UE problems but it can deploy more smaller ones.
  16. Instead of one 5x5 you have two, so when one carrier gets full or loaded the network should switch you to the other carrier.
  17. You won't see Sprint deploy a 10x10 in band 25 for a while, but as noted in another thread, a second 5x5 carrier is probably going to happen, at some point.
  18. Which London Bridge? Also, when they say they cover 239 Million people does that mean POPs or actual residential areas?
  19. You'd be surprised: http://www.kcci.com/news/central-iowa/caseys-planning-announcement-at-noon/-/9357080/23260984/-/g1ao8fz/-/index.html
  20. You deserve it for how much work you put into it. Also, if you're interested, I consider this tweet should be of note given who wrote it: http://twitter.com/nerdtalker/status/417433360235917312
  21. "GSM ONLY" mode seems like a good way to wean yourself off cellphones.
