They've (the higher ups) known about this phone for months, so hopefully they don't have too much. I'm just surprised it isn't nationwide to get rid of all the old stock. -

That could be, but you think they would want more people to have Tri-Band devices so they have a better network experience and don't leave unnecessarily.

AJ, I have a question for you, When 1X is shut down (yes, I know that's a long time from now) could they (where they own the spectrum) add 3 MHz to downlink to make band 26 a 8x5?

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't use any other blocks besides G for LTE until they shut down EV-DO (but keep 1X). -
I wonder if that means they don't have enough inventory to deploy nationwide yet.

I think that might be why Google has some videos able to downscale to 144p but maybe can't offer audio only due to copyright/licensing. -
Perhaps they're waiting until after the 1st so that it would be easier to distinguish between them.

If you used a "pure android" phone you would probably hate it. There is no phone on the market that is "pure android." Back on Topic, get a Tri band device, you'll be glad you did in a year or so. As for which one, it's about weighing pros and cons and determining what's important to you. I'm going to get the S4 Tri band edition because it's best for me, but you might have different priorities.
