  1. I guess it isn't said enough. T-Mobile's LTE upgrade is a cakewalk. The back haul is already in place on all the sites they're upgrading. Imagine if all Sprint NV 3G sites were 4G instead. Sprint would definitely be winning over T-Mobile. The difference is all backhaul. T-Mobile may never upgrade its 2G sites which is a disgrace. Sprint already has 1x or better on all sites which means highway coverage is usable. For me, TMobile can be absolutely infuriating in 2G areas when Google search fails, maps fails and streaming fails. I thought I could live with it but I can't, its truely worse than Sprints current 3G network. Sprint has a plan to fix its network problems while T-Mobile is doing its absolute best to cover up and avoid addressing its real problems. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  2. Many of us know that TDD-LTE is live in a few markets but 2500 LTE hasn't appeared in acceptances for the NV sites complete map. Since that isn't happening I propose that users be able to report these sites in the in-progress page so we can track their progress in new markets.
  3. I would test it out on a trial with the LG Optimus G2 when it comes out. Know that even if all of the sites around you have LTE on them they are still a far cry from being fully upgraded. 2500 and 800 LTE will dramatically improve service 2500 LTE will give you those ridiculous 50+mbps speeds when it arrives (and it will as a full overlay over existing sites) and 800 LTE will give you the in-building LTE coverage other carriers have If you like Sprint's current 1900 LTE network in your area keep the Optimus G2 and enjoy while looking forward to being able to use the new 800 and 2500 networks in the future (the G2 is the only one that can support them for now) If you don't like your experience, return the G2 and wait until 800 and 2500 LTE arrives in your area then give Sprint another try.
  4. A massive TDD-LTE build out that not only encompasses almost all existing sites but more can't happen over night (except in Denver apparently ) Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  5. Get a freedom pop triband hotspot. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  6. I can't wait to see it. It sounds like you all will have some pretty expansive coverage. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  7. so, a prepaid Sprint LTE hot spot with VZW 3G in non-lte areas. nice
  8. Because WiMaximus is still prevalent in many countries and continues to be frequently used for rural wireless broadband. Sent from my HTC Two using Tapatalk 1
  9. If your only concern is 1x 800 and not lte 1900 you could get a vm Evo 3D (probably cheaper especially used) Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  10. On the Roam Control app, many areas that are now Verizon owned show up as Alltel. If signalcheck uses the same list you may be on Verizon.
  11. Once upon a time Google made updates worth worrying about upgrading to. That was before android 4.0.
  12. The CM Devs will write AOSP drivers for their respective devices and release them with CM builds. CM is an improved AOSP. You could build your own AOSP builds from Google's sources directly while using the CM dev's drivers but it would lack many features you take for granted in CM and TW.
  13. Come on now. There is CDMA 1900 and 850 service in Canada and Mexico as well. If you were right, U+ using CDMA 1800 as a lone user would throw a dagger into your previous argument. How does U+ get devices for its network if its such a small fry with a proprietary CDMA spectrum?
  14. Check the Sprint coverage maps http://sprint.com/coverage
  15. Really? 50 Million possible sales isn't worth the 2 or 3 million dollars worth of research to create a radio for these devices? I don't think so.
  16. CDMA BC10 is already available on the iPhone 5. The great thing about band 25 and 26 from Apple's perspective is that they are supersets of other band classes (2 and 5 or 1900 PCS and Cellular 850) which other carriers will use also. So including 25 and 26 isn't a major expense for Apple as they could sell an iPhone with these bands to VZW (which the iPhone 5 for VZW does, at least band 25)
  17. The coverage maps are showing coverage in Tulsa and around it. Supposedly there is LTE coverage at my cabin. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  18. I'm beginning to think someone at Sprint really does has something against Baton Rouge.
  19. That is typical. Your skin attenuates signal more than most surfaces.
  20. Those are links to a thread discussing triband Sprint devices not PR releases. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  21. The LG Optimus G Pro is the first Triband phone! http://tinyurl.com/kqxabmn Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
  22. I would get a Samsung Victory LTE. It has better radios than the Evo LTE and could be cheaper.
