You know what Sprint can do to make me dislike them less? Get rid of the DAMN ACTIVATION FEES. I call and get them to remove them after the fact but even when it goes well and they agree to waive them the first call I still feel aggravated that I have to call in and ask. I activated the phone MYSELF at HOME! Why should I pay a $36 activation fee for something that had literally no input from Sprint employees? I'm totally fine with paying the fee if I need to come into a store and get an employee to do it or to make it work correctly. It just chaps my ass that I have to pay Sprint for doing nothing. edit: To really get sand in my craw the new iphone has a waived activation fee http://i.imgur.com/vQ31Q38.jpg

Yeah a 2 year @ $1 makes sense to me. It is the Amazon strategy where they used to offer super cheap handsets but the fine print extended the 'penalty' time while in contract to like 18 months or something. I think it is a smart bet especially if Sprint is creative about it by doing things like making it a promotion targeted at people in the announced Carrier Aggregation cities.

Just as an aside this may be the case currently but I am 95% certain that iPhone for life plans were offered $15/mo legacy credit to get the cost of an iPhone 6 to $5 back in last October which is where the confusion comes from probably.

Isn't band 30 like AT&T WCS spectrum @2.3 GHz? The only phones I know of that support it are the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The moto x pure doesn't have it either. edit: oh and the note 5 has it I guess

Hey thanks for the pictures! I have an N5 and my one concern about choosing the moto X pure was the larger size but that makes it seem not that much larger, really. Beautiful phone. For once I am going to wait for RF comparisons and reviews between the moto x and N5X before buying. That phone really is tempting just from looks alone.

Per others on this forum I believe iPhone for life is eligible for a loyalty discount but I am not sure if the offering of loyalty discounts is universal. Perhaps it is possible to be offered loyalty discount for iPhone forever and not iPhone for life? We'd probably need a Sprint employee like Rocket87 to confirm though. I can glean all kinds of plan information/history from outside but the individual incentives or oddities like some people having rollover plans are kind of a mystery to me as a non employee.

I guess the real question to ask is if they give you the maximum allotted as mentioned above then is that an issue? What kind of data usage are you seeing right now that has you nervous and wanting to bank it up?
