  1. We are in monsoon season in New Mexico. I've received three or four severe thunderstorm alerts so far this season. I also got one yesterday in South Dakota while roaming. Its kind of creepy to know they know where I am. I always knew that they knew, but it was still kind of creepy all the same. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  2. I'm between acts at the concert I'm at in South Dakota, so I'll take a moment to chime in. There are no Network Vision upgrades occurring in Arizona at this time that could effect signal. The only NV work that could be occurring at this time is base station cabinet deliveries and possible set up for backhaul installs. But I don't even think that will start for a few more months. What you are likely experiencing is Network Maintenance upgrades being performed by Ericsson. These are being tracked at network.sprint.com. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  3. Panama City is in the Gulf Coast market. Deployment will not begin until 2013. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  4. I almost posted +1's just to be an ass. But I didn't want to undermine the point. Because they annoy me too. Ahh, heck... +1 Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner

  7. I would be very surprised if LTE starts to come live in the Seattle area in August. That would be 3 months ahead of schedule. It would be the first instance anywhere that Network Vision was deployed ahead of schedule. That is hard to fathom. I believe the CSR had their wires crossed between network maintenance upgrades and Network Vision. Robert

  9. 1. To echo Digiblur, I have heard others made this mistake and had to do a factory reset. Painful lesson. 2. Sprint is not deploying EVDO on any 800 SMR, like Rawvega says. Not enough spectrum. LTE and 1xA only. 3. It is all but impossible to find a LTE carrier on 800 now (even if you had a device that was capable). It is 10MHz wide and would severely interfere with existing Nextel iDEN operations. Even the LTE 800 FIT is being considered in far from interfering locations...like Montana. 15. Richmond, VA is in the Sprint Richmond market. Not the DC Market. Richmond market will not start deployment until 2013...if there is any confusion. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  16. Yes. The Austin map is right here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1050-network-vision-site-schedule-map-austin/ You would also have access to all the schedule maps in the Premier Sponsor forum. Robert
  17. Yeah, these maps at network.sprint.com only show sites getting maintenance 3G upgrades in a 6 month rolling schedule. It does not include anywhere near all of them. Jordan, you do have access to the Austin market map as a Sponsor where you can see all the Sprint sites in your market here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/577-network-vision-site-map-dfw-austin-and-west-texas/ Robert
  18. This is great info. Thanks for sharing! Robert
