  2. No. That is not typical. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  3. Don't be so sure it will even pass inspection. Also, inspectors handle entire regions. They just don't show up the next day when the OEM is ready. When inspection occurs, they will be going through hundreds of items. Then the inspector will provide a punch list (correction list) for the OEM. In mist cases, a reinspection of these corrections is required prior to acceptance. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  4. I secretly like that song. Don't tell anyone. OK? Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  5. First GMO sites In Progress added to the NV Sites Complete Map for the UCV market. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  6. There is no Network Vision 3G upgrades live yet in the Tampa area. Sprint has to bring 3G improvements up in clusters. So even sites with new NV backhaul will still have 3G on legacy side until the whole cluster that site belongs to is complete. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

  8. It appears to be the one In Progress site north if Benton Harbor. It is probably testing. I will be watching for it to appear on an acceptance report. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  9. I have not received any acceptance reports from this region since Friday. So it was not signed off before then. I'm hoping for some more tonight. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

  12. That's not normal with all the Sprint LTE devices I have. But I don't have the Optimus G. Most of the new LTE devices use battery at the same rate as 3G. Also, if my phone got hot just being connected to LTE, I'd be very concerned. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  14. Another easy way to get your MSL code is to activate another phone online. Every time you use the automated online activation, they will email you your MSL code automatically. But note, that it only works when changing between one LTE device and another LTE device. The online activation fails for me when switching out LTE to WiMax and vice versa. I always have to call when a WiMax device is involved. And when you call to activate, you don't get the email. If you have another LTE device just switch them out online and you will get MSL code emails for both. Every time I switch out a device for the first time, I log its MSL code in Evernote for safe keeping. And all is right with the world. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  15. They could be working on GMO sites out on the edge of town, but not likely in the city. It is more likely a backhaul problem or a switch problem. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  16. In the Sponsor section, we have maps of sites permitted, In Progress and already completed with initial upgrades in the Las Vegas market. Work is already well underway in this area. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  21. Yes. In the way that a Koenigsegg is faster than a Corvette. Because both provide speeds faster than what you need for a smartphone. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

I title my 5GHz and 2.4GHz with different SSIDs though. So I can tell the difference on mine. I just use so many devices, that I may not have noticed the 5GHz SSID was not populating in available connections. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  24. For some reason I thought you had an iPhone. But if you have the GS3, it doesn't ever show you your LTE signal strength in bars. Even if you have the 4G icon showing. More into about that here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2040-bars-lie-for-lte-signal-strength-how-to-determine-your-actual-lte-signal-strength/ Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
