With Samsung it can be as few as two. There is a Samsung RRU that is capable of CDMA and LTE 1900 and a Samsung 800 RRU. They look different too. It will usually keep it for awhile. However, after awhile it will revert to a default one and you'll have to go back and select another one. Typically the default ones are the busiest because 90% of users will not change servers. So those ones get overloaded and yield less accurate results. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

Within the Speedtest app, click on the Tools button at the bottom. Then click on Change Server at the top. You may want to try some other Texan servers the next time your speed drops with a strong signal. It will help you rule out issues with the Speedtest server. I can sometimes have over a 10Mbps difference with LTE on some servers. Speedtests are only as fast as the weakest link. I've been using the BlahHosting server in Dallas the past week or so. It is the most reliable of the remaining servers. I used to use the MoeRadio in Dallas and the OneSource in Ft. Worth servers before that. They were much better and more consistent than BlahHosting and SoftLayer. But BlahHosting has had inconsistency issues lately. But it is still better than SoftLayer. I hope MoeRadio and OneSource come back. They were the best speed test servers in the area. Whatever you do, avoid the Comcast ones. They are horrible at peak times. I have the damndest time getting my Note 2 to rehash to another EVDO carrier. I get stuck on Channel 375 here a lot and its the poorest performing EVDO channel on our multi carrier sites most of the time. In our area, every site has an EVDO channel 375, and a 1x carrier at 325. Even the lowest capacity rural sites. Then sites that have additional need for carriers add from this baseline. So there are lots of two carrier and three carrier EVDO sites that perform better on Channel 400 or 425, but I can't get off 375 no matter what on my Note 2. I can cycle airplane mode until the cows come home and it will choose 375 over and over. Hard reboot can sometimes get it to choose another EVDO channel, but it will take several tries and at 3-4 minutes a pop, that can be annoying and time consuming. Seems like it is easier to acquire another channel with other devices. But the Note2 is driving me bonkers in this regard. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

They say it's earlier than originally planned, because they said publicly 2014. However, internally, it was always 3rd quarter 2013. So internally they are behind one quarter on LTE 800. But what matters is what they say, I suppose. And this makes sense, because Network Vision is pretty much behind a full quarter. They were going to have 12,000 sites online by the end of 2012, now it is the end of the first quarter. All things considered, this is good news. We already knew NV was running a little behind.
