Sorry, poorly worded. In the past it was connecting to cell ID 87 in hyrum. But yesterday I picked up LTE and noticed the new one - 400.

That's what I assumed but just wanted clarification.

It's probably the tower west of town, it went live on Friday

Good to know, hopefully they do the tower downtown. Although it's nice to be getting lte on main street, east of it between 4th and 14th north is like a black hole for decent service.

When will all the sites in Utah County be lit up with LTE?

Utah county has a ton of LTE sites already lit up.  Even on sprints coverage map it shows that LTE is live with coverage in Utah County because coverage is pretty decent down there.

As stated above, but to clairify a bit more. All sites are upgraded in Utah county, just waiting on backhual on the remaining. They continue to light up sites weekly. Make a donation and you will see a lot more information and it greatly helps keep the site going.

Actually I think I was wrong, I'm pretty sure that the new LTE tower IS the downtown one. I believe the tower west of town is still 3g.

All Spark devices have received their updates except for the N5. We are waiting on Google for that.

Well the iPhone 5 is still waiting to be able to use 800 voice and from what I've read in other forums the 5s hasn't been able to connect to b26 or 800 voice where available.  So those phones are still waiting on those as well.

Edit: I do understand though that they aren't "spark" devices

We have had lots of members use both CDMA 800 and Band 26 LTE on the iPhone 5s. In fact, for the first few weeks it seemed only the 5s could connect to B26. Android devices seemed to not be able to initially.

Additionally, the iPhone 5s will not even scan CDMA channels on 800 unless there is absolutely positively no 1900 available.

Well thats a positive sign.  Good to know!!  I guess its just the iPhone 5 now that for some reason isn't picking up CDMA 800.  I know for me personally on the iPhone 5 I will roam and then lose service and still not pick up CDMA 800.

where are you roaming? A lot of the sites further out may not have 800 yet because they are gmos.

I'm not by any gmos.  I'm surrounded by cdma 800 sites.  I'm roaming in ogden and south ogden.  There are places in washington terrace I will be roaming as well.  Keep in mind I am roaming in buildings not out in the open.

This may be a dumb post but I saw this at the nearest tower just today and it looks promising. I'm not sure what it is and I thought you guys could clarify for me. If needed I can get better close up pics. I'm a little confused though because when I took the picture I had my phone on LTE only mode and it was picking up LTE. I only assumed it was for the phone tower because it was right next to it.

That's definitely a new NV cabinet. You're likely picking up LTE from another tower in the area.

I'm not too surprised because I am able to pick up a strong 4G signal as I drive up and down Mountain View Corridor. I was going to talk to the business owner that this tower is located on and see if I can get some more info. Even with this tower not done, I'm able to pick up a little 4G in my neighborhood.

When will Vernal, Utah be getting 4G ? We have had 3G forever, all the other companies have 4G here.

A sprint employee told me June/July of 2014. I have no idea if it's true or not though.

Sprint employees see a general schedule which I believe generally has a 90 day window so don't get over excited for that date.
