...a couple of guys they were up to no good, started deploying wimax in my neighborhood, i dropped to 1 bar of service and my mom got scared she said your moving to a place with LTE in the air.

I was waiting for last weeks completed site update first. Which I received this morning. Should be soon.

Seems like they're two NV sites within walking distance of my home w/ 4G turning on next Saturday. Hopefully this will include some 3G speed increases as well(slow 3G was reason for me leaving on the first place).

 

 

Did they turn on in Brooklyn yet

I prefer Red, Chimayo Red. But sometimes I'll do Christmas style.

Back when I lived there, I almost felt like I *should* always order green just out of NM pride. I still usually got red anyways, or compromised with christmas... well, unless I was eating a burger. Definitely need green for that!

 

Man, talking about this makes me long for breakfast at The Pantry. Or maybe a Bumble Bee burrito..

I'm in Santa Fe for dinner celebrating my wife and son's birthday. But we went to Jinja. So its Thai chiles tonight. :)

The sites I was talking about were on the May NV schedule map. However, the NV complete map doesn't reflect that. So I assume those Brooklyn sites are not live. I not on Sprint anymore so I wouldn't have anyway to test and see.

No LTE sites went live in NYC market in May. :(

Sooo, when is LTE actually coming to Bel Air (or at least just greater LA)? Carlton has been waiting patiently and is getting jealous of Atlanta, Dallas, et al.

      In China now and roaming on China Mobile with Google Fi/TMUS. 5G is enabled on roaming, however most areas in China have NSA disabled on the network. so SA is the only way to get 5G. This is only possible using a native SIM from the Chinese carriers. Also, LTE CA is disabled on basically every site, except for a few I've come across while on the bullet train.   I'm lucky enough to be in a small town where NSA is still enabled on China mobile, so I'm able to have a decent experience while roaming. Haven't speedtested much but it seems to top out at 300mbps over roaming on b3 + n41 100mhz. The networks here are dense AF and every site seems to have midband 5G deployed. Also, interesting to see that most sites have antennas branded by the carrier, or painted a certain color (which I haven't figured out what that means yet).

      My S21FE, which is my primary phone, has burned in quite a bit from SCP.  Not sure I could get a good picture of it, so I won't try.  Helpfully, since SCP allows full customization of app colors, I'm going to see if I can't undo it a bit by flipping the colors. https://imgur.com/a/QQr5Ncv We'll see how long my eyes tolerate the change... - Trip
