I am interested in seeing how well the Cut Your Bill in Half promotion did. Also, I want to see how many pops they have covered in LTE (supposedly T-Mobile has 5million more. But I doubt it.)

Predictions, anyone?

It's said they earned close to 1 million customers, 400K being prepaid and the rest are tablets or other small profit devices.  I think 30K postpaid adds was the number.

I'm more interested in their update on the network goals and such for this year.  Haven't heard much about the specifics.

Didn't they give us some of the details from the quarter a few weeks ago? Maybe I'm just confused because I haven't had any caffeine today.

They put out unofficial subscriber numbers just after new years because Marcelo did a Q&A at a financial conference.  Tomorrow we'll get the official ones along with financial results.

Yeah, that's my point. The info will not deviate much from what was already released. Like subscriber numbers. Anything not released is what's open to speculation.

It that time already??? Time just keeps getting faster (or it seems that way).

I was thinking this morning that are we not close to it, but couldn't remember the date. Actually thought it was next week. But as usual time flies by, so yeah it does seem that it wasn't too long ago.

no caffeine!!!! Sacrilege

As for the numbers, like Mario said, they made a small mention of some numbers early in  late Dec/earlyJan, but the numbers should be better. A quarterly report is usually done 2-3 weeks before distribution, so I would guess that the Jan mention would not include about a months worth of new data.

Postpaid phones still not positive

Postpaid metrics improving• Postpaid phone losses of 205k compared to 1.8M in prior 3 quarters• Smartphones represent 97% of Postpaid phone sales• 81% of Postpaid smartphone base on LTE devices• Postpaid device sales on financing (Easy Pay + Leasing) grew to 46%

Sprint now covers 270 Million POPs with LTE, and 125 Million on 2.5Ghz. Not bad.

[emoji1][emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] they just hit 100mil a month ago so this progress is excellent.

I knew they wouldn't let T-Mobile hold that spot for long.

Is that 270 sprint native or is some the shentel, RRPR

I'm guessing native. If there was RRPP coverage on LTE, Sprint would make a huge deal of that.

from conference call: 60% covered by 800 LTE, other 40% this year.

might use 1.9 for uplink, 2.5 for downlink

What do they mean by this?

FDD is fixed, that is evenly divided.  Except when doing video conferencing and the like, it is underutilized on the uplink side. TDD is downlink oriented.
