NYC126
Sprint getting phones from Sony, and Sharp just means one guy left. That little guy is the Nokia Lumia line. I am not a Windows Mobile fan, but I want customers to have a great set of choices.I I don't know what is the deal is between both companies. Anyone wants to chime in? djw39
O heard this will be a tmobile exclusive for a while. Anyone can confirm this?T mobile is getting the big one. The one I like is the "compact" version, no US carrier announcements yet
ipatella
Man, a real bummer if sprint doesnt get this phone close to the release/at all.
Ascertion
Why Sony, why? Why can't you just say you're going to carry it on Sprint. Why only mention T-Mobile? The fact that T-Mobile's variant is in the FCC makes me think T-Mobile will undoubtedly get it first and Sprint's may come out sometime in November. EDIT: But as of now, it's unclear whether Sprint will carry it or not.
NYC126
The phone will come to Verizon too. So right now only tmobile and Verizon are confirmed. http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/09/04/pc-mag-the-sony-xperia-z3-will-come-to-verizon-as-the-xperia-z3v/

Ascertion
Yeah, this is pretty much what it will look like on Big Red. AJ No doubt it'll be that way on Verizon. The source listed above doesn't really confirm it'll be on Verizon though. I'm hoping it's on my more carriers but it's kind of in the same spot as Sprint is. There's no confirmation, just rumors. NYC126
Yeah, this is pretty much what it will look like on Big Red. AJ All their phones look like that except the iPhone. Sprint is the only carrier that doesn't stand its name on phones. Sprint took the European approach.

caspar347
Yeah, this is pretty much what it will look like on Big Red. AJ Ha! I remember some really funny pics of HTC One M7s with VZ logos literally covering the back in a tile pattern (with 7 more logos on the front and 2 on each side) on G+ before it was officially released on VZ. LuisBOSS302
If Sprint can get the 5.2" one I'm getting it in a heartbeat. Hopefully we get it!

The Compact would be nice but I'm thinking I'd rather have a 5.2" screen.

Ascertion
The only thing I don't like is the bezels Yeah small bezels are something I'm spoiled by because I'm on the G2. The Xperia's bezels are no doubt bigger but I don't mind that for the slick appearance of the phone.
scub
i just wished this phone had hardware touch sensitive buttons like the samsung phones. it clears up a lot of room on the screen because you don't have the buttons at the bottom of the screen. to me this design is just dumb when a phone has enough room at the bottom bezel for a couple hardware touch buttons. this is just one of the things samsung has done right.. i would like to get this device as i do like the fact is very durable phone compared to many other phones. i remember seeing a test done on a Z2 and they droped the phone on every single angle on cement from several feet up and the device barely had any scratches and screen didn't even crack.. i think it's going to be a bit awkward for me having those buttons wasting pixel space on the screen, but i am willing to give it a shot. if sprint does get it, my guess is it won't until later in the year after sprint is done pushing the iphone down people's throat. Ascertion
Man I keep seeing battery reviews for the compact one. It's making me really want the Sony Z3, either regular or compact. Sprint just needs to announce the dang thing already!
