Sprint getting phones from Sony, and Sharp just means one guy left. That little guy is the Nokia Lumia line. I am not a Windows Mobile fan, but I want customers to have a great set of choices.I I don't know what is the deal is between both companies. Anyone wants to chime in?

Why Sony, why?  Why can't you just say you're going to carry it on Sprint.  Why only mention T-Mobile?  The fact that T-Mobile's variant is in the FCC makes me think T-Mobile will undoubtedly get it first and Sprint's may come out sometime in November.

EDIT: But as of now, it's unclear whether Sprint will carry it or not.

The phone will come to Verizon too. So right now only tmobile and Verizon are confirmed.

Yeah, this is pretty much what it will look like on Big Red.

No doubt it'll be that way on Verizon.  The source listed above doesn't really confirm it'll be on Verizon though.  I'm hoping it's on my more carriers but it's kind of in the same spot as Sprint is.  There's no confirmation, just rumors.

All their phones look like that except the iPhone. Sprint is the only carrier that doesn't stand its name on phones. Sprint took the European approach.

I am guessing that Sprint gets the Z3 Compact

Ha! I remember some really funny pics of HTC One M7s with VZ logos literally covering the back in a tile pattern (with 7 more logos on the front and 2 on each side) on G+ before it was officially released on VZ.

i just wished this phone had hardware touch sensitive buttons like the samsung phones. it clears up a lot of room on the screen because you don't have the buttons at the bottom of the screen. to me this design is just dumb when a phone has enough room at the bottom bezel for a couple hardware touch buttons. this is just one of the things samsung has done right.. i would like to get this device as i do like the fact is very durable phone compared to many other phones. i remember seeing a test done on a Z2 and they droped the phone on every single angle on cement from several feet up and the device barely had any scratches and screen didn't even crack.. i think it's going to be a bit awkward for me having those buttons wasting pixel space on the screen, but i am willing to give it a shot.

if sprint does get it, my guess is it won't until later in the year after sprint is done pushing the iphone down people's throat.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
