Cant wait for this update if it is wifi calling. I just called up yesterday about signal. Keeps bouncing around failed calls and text

Has anyone actually broken down how the wifi calling works? I'd like to read some details on it to see how reliable it is, and what feature set is included with it (call waiting, etc)

Over at XDA they are reporting an increase in signal strength for LTE. They're flashing a tar of the ROM. I'm waiting for the official GOTA link but if you're brave you can head over to XDA for the links.

that may just be it fixing the issue where everything lower than -100dbm is shown as one bar

Anyone have a battery drain issue being caused by "quick connect"

It ate 40% of my batt today. I don't even know what it is really. Who the hell uses this thing.

Android system and android OS drain my battery like crazy. Really disappointed with the standby battery life.

Agreed, it's strange that no one has reported they've received it.....

It usually isn't for quite some time after the OTA roll out is complete if it operates like it has in the past.

Last Ota I did was with my LG G2 to KK, it was a day and half after the update was posted. So far I haven't gotten the update, but when I do I'll post saying I have.

I just received the update now! Woo Hoo!

I updated the profile first then ran the system update checker thingy

And it works...now I can finally make/receive calls and texts in my 100 year old steel and cinderblock hospital. (Verizon and AT&T don't even work there, Verizon had to place a bunch of small cells in the ceiling)

I just got it tonight as well.  Now hopefully I'll be able to make and receive calls in our mobile home up north.  I'll see this weekend.

So am I - my wife has a 5c and works deep inside a masonry building at least 3 miles from the nearest Sprint site, and this could be a big help to her.
