BGR sucks. That's my opinion.

I have no problem with ranking the iPhone 1 on any carrier other than Sprint.

Here? I'd go with the Nexus 5. Probably a better fit, with TD-LTE support.

I just don't see the pressure put on Apple to add TD-LTE support.

I have always chuckled at the tech sites opinion of large phones. As someone who is 6'4" I can easily use my phone with one hand and do so on a daily basis.

Now, when someone asks me about the phone, I tell them that the size is right for me and my big hands but is not right for everyone. Usually, I will hand it to them to try out and see how it feels for them. If they like it, cool. If not, then no big deal.

Pshaw, my Note III fits in my skinny jeans just fine.

That's what I meant,  the note is a tablet for skinny jeans.  I'd be both impressed and worried if you could get a surface pro in your skinny jeans!

True, I can't quite fit my Nexus 7 in my pocket, and I honestly found a 10-inch tablet to be unwieldy.

I can fit the Nexus 7 in my work slacks, but that's just silly to take around with me anyways. And frankly, with the Gear, I rarely pull out my phone anymore anyways...

I completely agree. For me, the Note 3 would be the perfect phone, had it not lacked tri band LTE. If the Note 3 was tri band, then I would be typing on that right now instead of this Note 2.

Over the past few weeks, I have been tempted to pick up a tri band device, and have checked out the Nexus 5, G2, HTC One max, and Galaxy Mega at my local Sprint corporate store. The Nexus 5 and G2 were just too small, while the HTC One max and Mega lacked the specs to make me pull the trigger on a purchase. Didn't even consider the S4.

if you want the note 3 size and tri band..get the mega..:)

I was reading the review of the G2 on that site and they blow everything out of proportion in a way I've never quite seen before. But, it's wise not to go much by these kind of articles. Every time, the iPhone wins, most non flagship phones are considered abominations and every flagship Android phone gets nitpicked. To complain about a default ringtone or the default wallpaper, all of which can be changed, is just absurd.

Actually, I would go with the HTC One max over the Mega. At this point, I am probably just going to wait and see what comes out in 2014. If nothing grabs my interest, I'll get the Note 4.

Edit: Unless Samsung keeps the Galaxy Note series as SVLTE instead of moving to tri band. If that happens, no more Notes for me.

I think the HTC One deserved second place over the Moto X. He basically slammed Samsung and I'm all for it. The One Max beat out the Galaxy Mega, as it should. And I love the comment on the EVO 4G LTE. I'm ready for March, when my uograde comes around and I can buy whatever the next flaghsip by HTC is.

If you couldn't tell, I'm an HTC fan.
