Nice! Hoping some of that will come my way in Milwaukee!

In Green Bay and I hear you. It's tough seeing some small cities getting it before us. Lol.

Oh well. It must mean we're close.

Just mapped Hwy 29 East towards Kewaunee and 42 North Towards Algoma on Sensorly.  It was nice to see that 4G icon light up for the first time. Got between 13-16Mbps down and 3-4Mbps up.

Is there really Sprint 3G on US 141 all the way up to Iron Mountain, MI?  I know there is to Marinette now.

According to Sensorly, yes.  Sprint, no (just Marinette)

I'm going to Crivitz on Sunday so I'll at least see if it goes there!

Might be testing.

Anyone else by Point/Marshfield having major connection issues today?

Both my S3 and iPhone 5 are having trouble loading maps, and streaming audio is impossible. Never had problems before.

Tried YouTube for fun, keeps saying connection error.

I was on Hwy 10 from Point to Marshfield yesterday afternoon and was having connection problems as well.  Once I hit the tower that has LTE on the south side of Marshfield I was fine again.

Sensorly will report roaming signals too.

Okay I know this is wishful thinkin I know... but at home I usaully have anywhrre from -75 dBm to like -85 dBm... that's a pretty damn strong signal... but for the last week I've been jumpin in and out of roamin a lot... confirmed it isn't just my fone because 2 other sprint lines will roam as well and a virgin mobilw phone says no service... sprint is getting my hopes up with announcing lte in comin months for rapids... lol there's already 4g in nekoosa on my way to the casino! Its been choppy here in Wausau. For a week now. Garbled voice calls. Hard at times but this is a good thing as work all over the state is in full swing. There are a lot of other markets that haven't even started at all. I believe that after the Nextel shut down is over most of the towers that are 3g complete will get the smr 800 voice and data... Well with in a few weeks after.

Everything you guys are describing is exactly what happened in the Chicago market while they were rolling out he new NV cabinets and LTE hardware. I think it is safe to say that work is being done in your areas. You will have spotty reception and possible dropped calls while they are working on towers. Be patient, this is a good sign!

    • New n261 license reduction for Brooklyn and Queens kinda gives insight into T-Mobile's mmWave plans going forward. While it sucks that they aren't going to widely deploy it in the outer boroughs, they chose great areas to retain the license. Downtown Flushing, Long Island City, Dumbo, Greenpoint, and Williamsburg all make the cut which is pretty obvious given their density.  I'm surprised to see Red Hook make it in and the entire waterfront along Sunset Park. Maybe they plan on some mmWave small cells along 1st Ave in Industry City. Also looks like they retained the license in the party section of Bushwick/East Williamsburg where Elsewhere, House of Yes, Brooklyn Mirage, etc. all are so that would be cool to see get covered in mmWave. In Queens they scooped up Citi Field, Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, and all of Flushing Meadows Park which should be helpful for all of the festivals that take place in that part of Queens. Also looks like they kept the license for LGA but not for JFK.
    • T-Mobile relinquishes mmWave spectrum 'not feasible' to deploy https://www.lightreading.com/5g/t-mobile-relinquishes-mmwave-spectrum-not-feasible-to-deploy This only applies to their 28GHz (n261) spectrum.
    • Might help Dish/echostar/ Boost Mobile since they will likely borrow against their spectrum (if not already done so). https://www.lightreading.com/5g/how-verizon-s-1b-uscellular-spectrum-deal-affects-echostar-s-dish
