Hatred not so much, its a good phone but there are other devices that can benefit from such plans and their users feel left out. Plus the fact that there are other devices that offer the same or better features and yet all you hear from most of the media and online discussion forums that the iPhone is king.

Well after that minor mishap this morning I mentioned earlier, the afternoon went well signal wise and also in my home neighborhood tonight. I did drive by the 3 towers near my work and didn't see anyone working. So I'll take it as a fluke. If it happens again, I'll report it. TS

That would be possible if both of my phones experience the same thing, but only the Note 4 does. The Mega had no hiccups this morning. Either way, I'll drive by the 3 sites near me at lunch to see. TS

Sure......The Note is making me a lair now. Since posting that, it has stayed on LTE. But I am not doing anything with the device and yet that Spark icon continues to spin out of control. lol Not for nothing, but that spinning Walmart wannabe icon sure is annoying. Actually since I've gotten the phone it only happened once for about an hour a couple of days ago, but today it really is acting up. TS

maybe I am not seeing it, but if I walk into the store with a family of 4 and was given the option of having to shell out $199 x 4, full price on 4 phones or $0 down with installment , I would chose the installments. I wouldn't have walked out. And like Deval likes to say, "Where are they going to go"? TS

Something is going on with the Note 4 today. The Samsung Mega is connected to LTE, but the Note 4 keeps dropping out of LTE, so it can't be the sites near me at work. hmmmm TS

I've noticed a similar theme in comments online in regards to the Note Edge, that it is a gimmick and won't be popular etc etc, but I think it is a stepping stone to get to ultimate phone turn tablet device as shown in the video below. in the folded mode it is basically much like the Note Edge., Original article here. Man this was driving me nuts. With the Mega (as well as the previous Note 2) the phones would continuously go from LTE to Wi-Fi without my input due to the Sprint Connections Optimizer app. Wouldn't be so bad, if it went to a Wi-Fi connection that I know or have set previously, but it always ended up trying to connect to Comcast or a TWC Wi-Fi connection which I do not have a password to. So I unchecked it (Apps--> Settings--> More Networks--> Mobile Networks--> Connections Opitimizer) and now it doesn't go back and forth, saves my battery a bit, and I have the choice of putting it on wi-fi if i feel like. Finally. I should have done this earlier on the other phones. TS

That is true. It brings out the ignorant and I had to unfollow two folks on twitter over their stupid comments. I admire and salute that Cook took the leap and courage to come out. He is in such a high position that it wouldn't affect him one single bit announcing his coming out, but there are tons of folks not as fortunate as him that can't come out for fear of harassment, loss of income and even fear for life. Its still not a perfect world yet, but at least we are at a point in time that folks can come out of the closet unlike decades ago when no one dared. TS

I finally tried out that Harmon Kardon Onyx bluetooth globe like speaker with the Note 4. Wow is all I can say. Really nice sound for such a small thing. TS

First it was Softbank looking into Mexicos' wireless carrier Grupo lusacell SA assets back in September and now according to the Wall Street Journal, Softbank is really looking into the assets of Mexico's America Movil SAB. Masa really has a thing for Mexico lately. Now if he succeeds in acquiring either one or both, what does that mean for deployment in the IBEZ? Granted it is Softbank we are talking about not Sprint, but I can't help to wonder what it would mean to the two (or more) wireless carriers in adjacent countries owned by one parent company in terms of coverage and frequencies? TS

So being that tomorrow is Halloween, any of you (or kids, family) planning on getting into costume? I would put on Styrofoam rectangles on my self and claim I'm a cell tower but I figure the joke would fly way over most folks heads lol so in the interest of killing time here at work, I ask, anyone getting dressed up tomorrow? TS

I hope not, since I plan on getting it at Sprint mid Nov. The same for the Galaxy Note Edge which should be out on Nov 17-24 since T-Mobile will have it out on the 17th. TS
