  1. I actually couldn't decide where to put this next post but figure since it involves the Family Share Plan this is the best place. So, I decided to upgrade my Mega to the Note Edge. do an EIN swap of the LG2 to the Note 4 and add the Nexus 6. Online it seems fine upgrading the Mega to the Note 4, but when I try to add the Nexus 6 as a new line, I get a message stating that there is one or more services on the current plan that is outdated and thus the device cannot be added. That I have to get the new device on its own plan. Really? I just upgraded to the Family Share Pack plan last month. That I know of, I'm allowed up to 4 more devices on my plan and I can't see any service that can possibly be on my account that could be considered outdated. So I can only call the order in. (as much as i hate talking on the phone) aarrgghh TS
  2. Let me start by saying that even as a Android guy, I still feel that destroying an Apple iProduct is uncalled for, even if they are old as Moses. With that said. The guy can't shoot for shit. First shot he almost didn't hit the first on line of sight device and misses the second one. WTF. Anyway, just had to say that, carry on with the topic at hand. TS
  3. I use this current avatar in most of the forums I work in, except at Sprint. I use my real face. TS
  4. I went to that store that told me they have them and it ended up being a lie. Luckily I had the day off otherwise i would be pissed that on any other work day I would drive there at lunch to end up with nothing but air and broken promises. They took my info and said they will call me when it comes in but I'm not holding my breath. Fool me once... I can't order it online since I'm placing it on easy pay and doing ein swaps on a few devices, so I'll just continue checking the stores. TS out
  5. I also use swappa. This article "Best places to buy and sell used Android phones" shows other places besides swappa. Although the title says Android, they also sell iPhones, tablets etc. TS
  6. I called some stores and one of them said they will have them but to get there early. TS
  7. Soooo, Apparently my local Corporate Sprint store here in NY will not have the Note Edge on hand to purchase tomorrow. Only way to buy it is via online or in stores for delivery at a later date. Damn it. TS
  8. Oh boy, incoming female responses in 3...2... oh wait there are no females in these forums. lol ok never mind, carry on. TS
  9. I bet you are. Its like watching a horse race at super dooper slow speed. who gets ahead and who gets bumped off. TS

  11. I get the same size image in both Chrome and IE. TS
  12. To be perfectly honest with you all, I would still buy it from Sprint even if it is $50 more. Having to go through the hassle of (hoping) that it is on the Sprint whitelist is something I rather not go through. Plus I'll put it on easy pay now rather than full price via Google (or any other outfit) and can pay it off in full later on when I have more moola. Although I do agree that Sprint should match or be lower in price instead of pricing their devices a bit more. But eh what can you do. TS
  13. I'm sorry to disagree, but for the vast majority of folks that I know all they care about is fast speeds, faster speeds, and fastest speeds. We here are a small minority compared to the millions out there. The media burns it in our brains, in speed tests, commercials and marketing too. It is a shame, but it is what it is. TS
  14. members, let me remind you cursing at other members is a no no. If it continues you will be given a time off. TS
  15. Read an article this morning that stated the Note Edge was suppose to be curved on both side but Samsung eventually decided to only do one side. Article also states that the upcoming S6 will have both sides curved. I mentioned this elsewhere but i can see one side being curved but both sides? Other than making those that are left handed happy, I think it would 1-make the main screen smaller (and probably a smaller battery as well) 2-I can see one side with controls, but both sides would probably be overkill with functions and apps. 3-Protecting the device would be a designers nightmare. Current cases for the Note Edge allow the side to be shown, if both sides were cured, how would you protect such a device? Things that make you go hmmm. Regardless I would probably buy such a beast. I'm a sucker for these things. TS
  16. Ok, lets get back on track. Question. With the iPhone 6 and 6 + being much bigger than previous iPhones, have any of you put them in a case or kept it naked because you feel its already big in your hands. So far everyone I've seen with an iPhone 6+ has it without a case. Fire away. TS
  17. I can't, he is way too out of control. TS out
  18. Wait. you don't have that feature. I see it right here... oh... wait... that's the ban button. my bad. Carry on. sorry, couldn't resist. TS out
  19. Just to be curious, I went ahead and did a nandroid backup using twrp and everything went fine. I'm curious to know what is causing yours not to. Hopefully you get this working. TS
  20. That happened once on a previous device, seems like a faulty twrp install. See if you can re-install twrp. Also as simple as it may seem, make sure the backup is set to backup to Micro SDcard that has sufficient space and not Internal Storage. TS
  21. I was going to post the video of AJ doing just that, but due to the s4gru NDA, I can't. Plus I value my life. So instead I'll submit this... Private Dancer. TS
  22. Frustration? Not once did I say I was frustrated. lol nope, none whatsoever. But one doesn't even have to look beyond Sprints and Softbank for an example. Both companies went above and beyond the norm for having the device on their networks and now are offering a unique plan no one else has offered. So by definition of the word, yes they are pandering to the crowd, in this case iPhone users or potential iPhone users. Pandering: the act of expressing one's view in accordance with the likes of a group to which one is attempting to appeal. TS
