  1. I left Verizon because they have awful service here. I would not go back to them. Sprint 3G was faster than Verizon LTE here. T-mobile works fine here in my building so they would be the option. 800 mhz won't help me with data since no phone support that unless I get a new phone. But if what you said is true of it taking a looooooong time, then I will have to consider alternatives.
  2. Since I value the opinions of those in this site, I have a question. Ever since Nov of last year from Sandy, Lower Manhattan has had the worst service for Sprint. NV is going on in the city where about 50 percent of the area I visit have LTE available. My work area which is Wall street has little or no NV sites done. The network tickets in the area has been around since Nov 2012 and still is being worked on. How long do you wait until you finally break and move on? Don't want to be the fool who still is waiting when this Nov comes along... What would you do?
  3. And guess who will pay for all that money being thrown around making the other people rich.... that's right... you and me.
  4. Just talk to Sprint... Tower down in lower Manhattan again... My phones been going from 3G to "o" and back and forth again. I really wish it's LTE that they are putting up. Others with iPhones notice this around the city? I had that issues while riding the 7 train too. Just connected to LTE than lose it to 3G to "o" and than 3G... LTE... 3G... "o"... lol
  5. SoftBank doesn't have the best satisfaction in Japan too. I hope that doesn't make it harmful to Sprint.
  6. No one knows. It's all speculation at this point.
  7. I hope so. Bring lots of water and an umbrella. I am sick of hearing from people about how terrible Sprint is and how NV is delayed. Work faster and finish already. At least have a market be 100% complete.
  8. 800mhz is the least of my concerns... for now. Still no NV in the downtown Manhattan area. At least Queens has started to pick up. I guess I will need a new phone later this year or next year to use 800 mhz LTE.
  9. Just curious but have anyone noticed the places where you had LTE now no longer broadcasting them? Here in NYC, we have many sites that had LTE in an area that was initially set up to cover a large area than reconfigured to target a smaller area. This makes the Sensorly maps no reliable.
  10. Where in NYC is your job located? I am looking into T-Mobile but if you say there is no coverage than that will be a problem for me. Thanks.
  11. I think T-Mobile will work fine for most people who don't travel as much and are in the limits of cities. I will most likely try out T-mobile as well once I am out of contract with Sprint. Hopefully, my second year with Sprint will be better with NYC almost complete with NV.
  12. Then I am at a loss. I went to the store in Feb this year or something like that. The Carrier update didn't help me because I still lose 3G on and off and my towers are all fine. But a helpful tech has placed an order for me so I should be ok on Tuesday. If not, than I'll be at a loss again.
  13. Let's say Clearwire votes for Dish's proposal, does that mean Sprint loses the 2500 mhz spectrum? With still majority stake in the company, how would this impact Sprint and their NV rollout? Is 2500mhz even worth it for Sprint if they can get 600mhz?
  14. I did bring it but they said to take it to apple store since the Sprint stores don't have the diagnostic tools to help. Not complaining AJ.. incase you are worried.
  15. There are some people at Sprint who doesn't care about customers. I called to get my iPhone 5 replaced because of the issue Sprint had with 3G intermittently disconnecting and was told that since I don't have insurance (they didn't have insurance at the time when the iPhone's were sold), they can't help me. That I have to go to Apple to get a warranty replacement. So I said, fine I will go there. But If Apple tells me that it's a sprint issue, then what do I do? and the rep told me, then you need to decide whether you want to keep Sprint as the provider. I couldn't believe what I had heard. Trying really hard to keep customers...
  16. So you are saying I need to restore it again? and that should fix the issue of white font? burning the midnight oil again huh? .....
  17. I have a white back ground as well but the stock font is... white... I can't find a place to change it to black. So annoying...
  18. Really? I noticed my battery draining like crazy. 15% left after 2 hours and 21 minutes of use. And the phone is considerably hotter.
  19. How do we know once the UDID Is activated? Will you notify us?
