  1. With all of the new 4G sites showing, I'm surprised Sensorly hasn't been reflecting them yet. Wonder if the sites haven't been turned on yet. Also, I have been on the phone constantly with Sprint because of towers that have been damaged since Sandy. Today I have been notified that they are rebuilding the two towers around me from scratch since they are total loses in the downtown Manhattan area. But the strange thing is, they don't think it will be the new NV upgraded towers. That makes no sense to me. Why waste money on rebuilding the towers the old way? Could they be mistaken/misinformed? And on a side note, it's killing me that service around here has been terrible since Sandy and Sprint can't fix it for over two months. I'm not complaining, just frustrated.
  2. Is that 4G in queens village???? Could that be true???
  3. I am so aware of that. I was getting 1 bar of LTE from Verizon. it was slower then Sprint 3G. I was at an area that just didn't have any 3G or LTE from Verizon. After dealing with it for 2 years, I left and came to Sprint. Now I have full bars of 3G but not usable. But that means I get full bars of LTE so I am looking forward to a great relationship... Verizon isn't what it is made out to be. They are just expensive provider that doesn't budge on anything.
  4. Bummer... oh well... at least we know it's getting closer.... closer... closer....
  5. That is awesome. Makes it look kinda funny. Someone needs to map that out as well. Can't wait for a spot on queens.
  6. Agreed. Why wouldn't it be few places within each boro's lighting up? All the sites that's been completed for 3G, shouldn't they also be done and ready for LTE?
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. The field test for 1xEV-DO does -67 as the signal strength. I called Sprint and they did say that 9 of the towers around me are down and engineers are working on them. ETA due 12/7/2012. Last week the ETA was 11/29. I still can't understand why it takes so long to fix the towers but I hope they aren't just fixing the old towers and instead adding upgraded towers with NV. All this problem due to Sandy. I did test out the LTE in midtown 2 weeks ago and man, it was good. 21 mbps dl speeds. I can't wait for it to come down to downtown. The only disappointment is that when calling Sprint, they don't give me the answers with what they are trying to fix and how long it takes to fix one tower at a time. it's been 2 weeks with terrible 3G and voice issues so it's getting frustrating. But again, I am excited for LTE.
  8. Guys, I've been with sprint for a little over a month, is 3G speeds of 0.04mbps the norm? I am talking about downtown Manhattan. sometimes i can get 0.25 but never in the "normal" speeds of 0.75 and above. I came from Verizon because they had even poor service where I work but I though Sprint would be better since at least I have 4 bars instead of 1 compared to Verizon.
  9. The Anticipated Launch date is constantly moving later and later. Now it shows Jan 2013. And I am still having Service issues because of Sandy. Even through this, I am waiting and waiting for LTE....
  10. What about Queens?? When will we see some love?? Anyone have any information on Queens? Edit: Opps, just saw that posting right above. Thanks.
