  1. Make sure to go through the Bronx... CrossBronx expressway... you'll be stuck in traffic but you'll have great time running speed tests.
  2. Yes, it is. But it also means something is happening to the towers nearby and that means hopefully NV. If it's just a tower that is having problems... boo.....
  3. That's happening to me all day today as well in downtown Manhattan. Hopefully it means NV and LTE soon!!!!
  4. When I was passing that area yesterday, my phone showed -113db. Wasn't strong enough of a 4G signal. I have yet to see 4G signal in the -80 ~ -90's range.
  5. I'm so glad this storm wasn't as bad as it could have been in NYC. Hoping NV gets right back on tract tomorrow. Due to this rain, a lot less snow to deal with.
  6. go to your dialpad and press *3001#12345#* and call. Once you are on that screen, press and hold the power button until you see the poweroff screen. Once at that screen, press and hold the home button until you are back to the home screen.
  7. March is looking like a reality here in NYC. Seems like another LTE tower came online in Flushing in Main street and Roosevelt Ave. Another in Williamsburg. Take a look at Sensorly... a lot of new dark purple.
  8. You mean downtown Manhattan???????????????????? YES!!!!! Can't come soon enough. Now just need it to come even more downtown... all the way down...
  9. Looks like another snow storm to delay NV...
  10. Seems like that part has been mapped on Sensorly. Looking nice and purple...
  11. I have a feeling a lot more towers are completed but not turned on until the market is launched. So the few that are made available are probably just to tease us. lol
  12. btw, Spoke to Tech support that is working on the towers that were affected by Sandy and they are telling me that they are just rebuilding them with NV and that they won't go live until early 2013. When pressed what early 2013 means, they said around March is when NYC will be launched. Let's hope this is correct. Can't wait for LTE in more places.
  13. Got LTE in my house, Fresh Meadows and pulled 11 down and 1.25 upload. This was with a pretty weak signal of -109 db. If Towers closer to me gets LTE turned on, I can see a whole new world.
  14. You could be connected to a different tower that is NV tower. Just because there is a tower near you doesn't mean you always connect to it. Sometimes you can connect to towers further away. Also, some towers aren't 360 degrees according to Sprint CS. As in my case, I am 3 blocks from one tower but apparently they only face westward and I'm on the east side of it and aren't connecting to them. I could be proven wrong though.
  15. I think by summer, we should have some what of a decent LTE coverage in NYC. If earlier, even better. I can't wait to taste LTE on a consistent basis.
  16. According to sensorly, it seems like it's near grand central parkway. As I move away from grand central, the signal gets weak. i can't get any signal on the ground in flushing. So It's definitely far from Flushing. Even in Fresh Meadows, the signal is weak to none on the ground.
  17. I have driven pass all of the area that Sensorly is showing and noticed that some are not showing LTE. Seems like on street level, you hardly get any LTE signal but up on high floors, you will get LTE signal. That just tells me that it's a tower far away. It could just be one tower that is being picked up on high floors. But it's still progress. Hope the cold weather doesn't slow things down too much.
  18. Did anyone get a solution to this problem? I have noticed my phone going back and forth from 3G to o and then back to 3G causing me to lose internet often. I have called Sprint and all they do is reset network setting and then wipe eveything. I've done both and neither helps the problem. Still loses connection. Any resolution?
  19. Does that mean when the crews that is working in the Bronx are done, they will be allocated to the other boro's? I hope so.
  20. Don't say that. Queens needs some love here. I think they will just get the sites that they have access done and go that way. Let's just hope the sites that are 4G capable but not operating yet be turned on once NYC launches. I just want any kind of service in Downtown manhattan (east or west)
