  1. It seems to be "normal", at least from my end. My contract expires next month, but I've been eligible for an upgrade since June. I know this cause Sprint constantly likes to remind me of this. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. I pulled a copy of my ota zip (around 450MB ), so not sure if that can be of use? Or are you waiting for Samsung to release the 1GB+ sized zip that they should have already released ages ago, but still haven't? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. Samsung already posted an update to their update? Still wondering if you can go back to 4.3 after flashing the KK update.
  4. I don't see why not. I recently got my Nexus 5 update and it wasn't activated either. Other option is Kies if you want to install that on your computer.
  5. Not that it matters, but the Note 2 updated to 2019.
  6. Heh, I wonder if this update includes Knox 2.0 and an updated bootloader? I fell for 4.3 and got my bootloader updated so I can't go back. I think I'll stick with Omni until I hear confirmation on these things.
  7. Still working for me as well. Glad I had Titanium Backup to restore back to the previous version.
  8. I switched to OmniRom weeks ago and I get superb battery life, plus I don't get the bloat that Samsung puts into their ROMs. I miss the ability to update my PRL, but other than that, it runs well, very stable, and no TouchWiz to contend with. Sent from my Omni-ized Samsung Galaxy Note II using Tapatalk.
  9. Works as it should on my Nexus 5... Crashes on my Note 2 just like the others. Tried clearing everything and reinstalling the app, but nothing seems to work. I'm on a stock/rooted 4.3 build (MK4), not on Digiblur ROM like the others. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  10. Working fine for me. Plus, aren't you the new ROM guy that helped make the current version of digiRom? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  11. This feature is now possible if you're rooted and have Xposed Framework installed. Just install the module, enable it within Xposed Framework, and reboot device. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2676516 A new Users menu will be added to your Settings menu. I've tested this and it works as it should. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  13. Ah missed that. How about the live wallpaper issue... any update on that?
  14. Will there be a list/zip posted on what APK's were removed like in the S3 thread?
  15. I'm shocked to see the Galaxy Note 10.1 on the list. I thought Samsung had all but abandoned it. They've promised 4.3 in the past, but it's still stuck on 4.1.2. I wish there was some sort of specific timeline for when these updates could be making their way out other than "beginning today and continuing throughout the coming months"... I was thinking of selling my Note 10.1 and getting a Nexus 10 since the Nexus line gets updates almost instantly. I would miss the S-Pen features though. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  16. Should be able to accomplish this with Tasker($3). Just create a "Mobile Data On" and "Mobile Data Off" task (under Tasks tab) and create a "Display On" and "Display Off" event (under Profiles tab). While you're setting up your Profiles, it'll ask which task you want to use, just pick the task that coincides with what you're setting up. No root needed. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  17. It means you need to be rooted to use that function. Ever since Android 4.2+, the Reset Connection feature no longer works the same as it did before.
  18. I think too it's time to jump ship from Samsung. I'll definitely miss the SD Card slot, removable battery (though now I use my own personal cloud storage and have an external battery to recharge my "sealed" phone) and screen size, I really can't ignore Knox being on my GN2 and it being on all future Samsung devices. Knox screams anti-consumer when it was their customers that got them to where they are today. I can't believe a company that embraced rooting to turn around and lock everyone down with the 4.3 update. To me, if they are going to make it an obstacle to root, they obviously don't want me to do it, so I'll move on to my Nexus 5 soon. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  19. Oh really? :/ I've been experimenting with 1X800 to see if it'll be more reliable than my Airave. 1900 has never really worked here so if 800 is stable enough, I might send it back to Sprint. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  20. I just recently started using custom PRL's again, and it seems that the 1X 800 is okay where I am. I haven't noticed any issues with it on my GN2 and it seems to hold on to the signal and not fall to 1900.
  21. To enable Developer Options, go to System Settings > More... > About Device: Keep tapping on the build number until it says you're a developer. Once it does, go back one screen and you'll see developer options. Go in there and enable USB debugging. Also try TWRP if Philz recovery doesn't work for you. Sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1 using Tapatalk 4
  22. Nope. The Note 3 would have to have a hardware revision like the GS4 got. The options may be in there, but it won't do squat. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  23. Tried my Motorola S305's and they work great.
