  1. I was hoping to revert back to the newer HiddenMenu.apk since my custom PRL is already installed on the phone. I have the 4.3 update ZIP and found HiddenMenu.apk.p within it, but I don't know how to extract it. Not sure if any of my recent TitaniumBackups would have them stored away?
  2. Probably wasn't supposed to do this, but I flashed digi's Unhide PRL (MA7) and it works. I was able to access the PRL write function and write one of the custom PRL's in the Premiere Sponsors forum. The reason I say I shouldn't have done this is now I feel like there are less options in the Debug menu and Data menu. Edit: Hmm, seems to have "FIXED" the IOTHiddenMenu shortcut within' SignalCheck. 3. MD4? I thought the last update before MK4 (4.3) was MC2? Sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1 using Tapatalk 4
  4. ##debug# works, but you do need to input '777468' to access the page. Sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1 using Tapatalk 4
  5. I purchased both systems... but I'm still trying to figure which would be best for 3rd party titles. I love the Xbox controller, but I also really like the PS4 redesigned one. As for graphics, I own Assassin's Creed 4 on both systems and they both look the same to me, so I don't know.
  6. Nope, not working for me. The menu never even pops open. Might need to poke at Mike for a fix. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  7. Basically everything on this post is what I followed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47768329&postcount=67 The post has you visit SXTP-Developers to reflash your phone back to MC2 stock... I used "SPH-L900_MC2_Stock_Nodata.exe" to revert my phone back to stock (recovery, ROM, etc) and it also keeps my data. Reboot phone so you can verify if it's stable. Then I placed the file "USER_L900_SPT_MC2_to_MK4_Update_FWD.zip" from the first post of the thread to the root of my external SD card. I then rebooted into recovery and finally flashed the update from external SD. Phone should reboot and check apps, then it'll be done. Now for me, I still have all my apps and settings and I never had to wipe all my data and start from scratch, so I feel I lucked out. Just make sure you have some sort of backup or nandroid before doing any of this so you can revert back in case of bad things. Good luck.
  8. I had thought it had its own app icon? Anyway, doesn't matter now... got my phone rooted, removed Knox, and those annoying security popups.
  9. I just reverted back to stock and installed that .zip file from XDA to get to 4.3. I don't see the Knox app at all in my app drawer. Edit: Nevermind... I'm getting these annoying security pop-ups whenever I try to install SuperSU and if my apps try to access root. Looked it up and it has to do with Knox.
  10. Well if you need a tester, count me in. I have two other devices I could go back to if need be. Plus, if it kills my Note 2, it'll be my push to buy a Nexus 5. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  11. I bought my phone when it was first released (October 2012), so I assume the warranty is up... so it don't matter to me.
  12. Works quite nicely! Might have to fiddle with the whitelist feature though so that Hulu ads push through, otherwise it just sits on a black screen. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  13. I use the same router firmware as you and I do most of the same things as you listed, but the ad blocking on the entire network sounds intriguing. I'll have to try that out! Sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1 using Tapatalk 4
  14. I saw the options and it works for the camera app, but those settings don't carry over to the Google Translate app. I tweaked some sort of setting to keep it from making noise whenever I used it. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  15. I do the same as Robert and stream to my Chromecast (or watch from my device). The only "mods" I've done is changing my launcher to Nova and change some options through build.prop (Mute shutter sound, etc). Otherwise, everything is stock & rooted based on the instructions that digi posted.
  16. Same here. Crashes when attempting to access Settings area.
  17. Note 2 is skipping 4.2 entirely. 4.3 testing has already started per Sprint: http://device.sprintpcs.com/Samsung/SPH-L900/latest (L900VPUBMIA is the latest build and if you read through that blob of text, it'll read "OSVersion" as 4.3) Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  18. One year. If you root and Knox says warranty void, then you have no warranty. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  19. Yes, 800SMR works for me when I use it around town, etc. I still have to use a modified PRL (to access 800SMR) and an Airave since it doesn't quite reach home at the moment. As digi said, Shentel markets seem to be the area where most complaints were made. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  20. Not sure what they updated... I'm sure digiblur might come up with a comparison look at what was added/removed. Other than that, glad that it's helping you. Even though I'm in a 800SMR area, the signal is weak (due to distance) and I still get disconnected all the time. I figure I'll be stuck with this Airave (I'm not complaining about it, it's awesome!) as long as I'm with Sprint or living in this area.
  21. I live in a Samsung market with 800SMR. I've been able to pick up 800SMR on digi's PRL and then updated PRL to 2006... looks like 800SMR is still blocked. Switched back to digi's PRL, 800SMR is picking up again. No fix yet.
  22. Yes and no. Yes, as a Sprint customer, you can integrate your cell number with Google Voice and make calls using Groove IP over Wifi for no additional charge. Groove IP does a pretty good job in logging into your Google account and can also replace your dialer with its own dialer within the app. I also say no cause you have people, like my folks (I'm sure many like them), that don't want to upgrade to Android/iOS, sign up with Google [ie: open an account with Google], or they want to use a "dumbphone" to only make phone calls and text, but can't necessarily get a good signal. For me personally, I have a Note 2, my number is integrated with Google Voice, but I still use an Airave. I find it convenient to have so that my signal bars are always maxed out, my battery doesn't die as quickly, and it doesn't suffer from the loud "crackling" noises I've had happened to me when using Groove IP in the past.
  23. Not sure if anyone is interested in the Galaxy Watch, but T-Mobile has it for $210+free shipping. I just ordered one at that price and thought I'd share it for anyone that might be interested in it for their new phone. I assume it should work for Sprint devices too. 24. I had my doubts since they didn't include a SIM slot for the Note 2. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4.
