  1. Like the instructions says, you must be on 4.3, rooted, and have a custom recovery installed like TWRP. Once you're squared away there, you'll download the ROM onto each device, boot to the custom recovery, flash the ZIP file within recovery (Install > Locate/Select .zip you downloaded > Swipe to Confirm Flash), and once that's done, then reboot the device. All done.
  2. Doing a PRL update doesn't give you 2011? Sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1 using Tapatalk 4
  3. What PRL are you using? If you're using a custom one, I find that it does exactly as you mentioned with my Airave 2.5. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  4. Just took a look at my N5 and mine has that yellowish tint too. I actually don't mind it really since I use a program called Lux that turns my screen yellowish (warm). I can understand that others might not like it and rather have their screen display more natural (cool) colors. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  5. Looks like you got one of the newer, revised models: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/12/13/google-subtly-revises-the-nexus-5s-hardware-with-larger-speaker-holes-and-improved-buttons/ Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  6. I don't see any options within the lock screen settings to disable it. I ended up installing a replacement lock screen app from the Play Store. It's fine, but I use a live wallpaper, and rather look at that instead of the wallpaper selection that I'm given. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  7. Are you both running 4.3 (MK4) or something older?
  8. Heh, I did that last night since my root got all messed up for some reason, so I figured I'd go back to MC2 from MK4. I thought I could go back, but nope... I realize that now after doing a bit of research. Anyway, ended up soft bricking my Note 2 after receiving a fail message within Odin. Tried rebooting afterwards and it wouldn't even light up. Only download mode worked and had to use Kies to get back up and running. If Knox is going to be the norm of Samsung, then this is my last device from them. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  9. Huh... I reported in the Nexus 5 forum that a new version of Roam Control was recently released and added N5 support. It looks as though it may have quietly (ie. FINALLY) added Note 2 support as well. I tried messing around with the different options and it works under the Samsung GS4 option under phone manufacture. I haven't tested on older versions other the newest that was just released (4.3-MK4). 10. Huh... Just got an notification from Roam Control that they finally updated their app. Was hoping they would get around to adding Note 2 support, but instead added support for the Nexus 5. Can't wait to try it out. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  11. Darn... just unlocked/rooted my phone last night so I could flash the custom PRL. Now I gotta redo the rooting part again.
  12. That's pretty much my experience other than the rep trying to sell me everything that they sell (speakers, tablets, other phones, you name it)! What should have been a few minutes took nearly 30 minutes. He just wouldn't quit it! -_-
  13. Amazon has Xbox One's In Stock in case anyone really wants one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CMQTVUA/ - ($500)
  14. Would you consider at least making the TXT file list of the apps (ie. bloatware) you would have removed from the ROM if you were making the latest version of the digiROM?
  15. I got that one for my N5. Very nice case and the side buttons are just awesome!
  16. Good to know. Was about ready to order some since I just got my N5, but with that bit of info, I'll hold off for now. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. Fios is great! Rarely ever goes down, cheaper than cable, faster speeds than Comcast, great customer service. I'm a very happy customer with it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Yup, that person was me. You need to flash version MA7 within recovery. The other versions won't work... I tried. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  19. I spoke with a Sprint rep about SIM swapping last night, since I got my Nexus 5 and Sprint SIM yesterday, so I hope this answers your question... He basically told me that the SIM has to be associated with the device for it to work properly. When you swap your SIM to a new device, it must be associated once again or it doesn't work. He said that Sprint is not like ATT/T-Mobile where you can swap SIM's and it just works. As for, is it a "bad thing"... No it's not... They don't care as long as service is active and your bill is paid. These SIM's can be reactivated and moved around all over... At least that's what the Sprint rep said. 20. Hah! I just received my Nexus 5 this morning and first thing I did was order 2 screen protectors and a case. I also can't help think that if I hadn't put a screen protector on my Note 2, there would be scratches on the screen, since I see small scratches on the screen protector when I shine a bright light on it. I understand that Gorilla glass is tough stuff, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable leaving it exposed, especially if I were to drop my phone on concrete, and it lands face down. Sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1 using Tapatalk 4
  21. Yup, no more Knox. I was reading the changelog for today's release of SuperSU, and it looks like they figured a way to suppress those annoying messages from Knox. Personally, I'm not going to put back Knox to see if it does work as it says, but it's nice to know that there is something for someone who might not feel comfortable in deleting system files. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  22. Which one did you flash? I did version MA7 and it worked for me. If you flash anything older than that, then yah, it probably won't work. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 HD.
  23. Ask and you shall receive: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y8e0kxhxiedgm5h/4.3-MK4-HiddenMenu.apk TitaniumBackup does keep a backup (thankfully) listed as: IOTHiddenMenu 4.3-L900VPUBMK4. So basically, I restored the file, dumped it to SD and uploaded for you to mess with.
  24. Well, that's just great... I don't have a backup. Now my Changelog Droid app is notifying me that there is an update for HiddenMenu.apk. -.- *Bad coloring due to Lux app
