  1. The GBA4IOS is also a lot of fun to play on the iPad. Goto www.gba4iosapp.com from Safari on your iPad to get it. You have to set your clock back to before 2/18/14 first, but once you launch it, you can fix the time without issue.
  2. Games - Jetpack Joyride, Plants vs Zombies, Angry Birds, Threes, Stellar Wars, Clash of Clans
  3. Yeah that's why I'm hoping there's two versions. a ~4.8" one that doesn't add much size to the 5/s in size and another one that's 5.5+" for those that want one.
  4. I just don't want the iPhone to get too big. I like being able to easily carry it in my front pocket. I really hope Apple offers two versions.
  5. But as was posted earlier, B41 is getting rolled out by China Telecom. That's many millions of potential Apple users that they want to go after. So it's not just USA Sprint users that will benefit.
  6. Just like other rumored features, we won't know that until probably the day it is released. I'd be surprised if it didn't though.
  7. Sounds like something funky going on with iCloud. Try going into Settings | iCloud | Photos and turning off My Photo Stream or Photo Sharing for a while to see if it sorts it out.
  8. How do Sprint phone upgrades work? My 2-yr contract on my iPhone 5 is up in October. If Apple releases a new iPhone in, say August, will I be able to get it then without penalty or will I have to wait until October to get it?
  9. It works on some forums and not others, which leads me to think it's a server software issue. You can always go into the Notifications icon in Tapatalk and check it manually.
  10. I use my iPad Air's charger with my iPhone 5 all the time with no ill effects.
  11. Somewhere in this subforum there's a thread where we talked about this for battery life. There's some tips in there on apps/settings to change.
  12. You obviously don't have Comcast. I was excited when I finally got LTE inside my place for those times when the cable is out. Sent from my iPad/iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I do keep it in a case, but it only covers the sides and back. I also have an Otterbox Defender that I use when at the farm.
  14. What peaked my interest in sapphire is this video demo of a company that makes sapphire screen protectors pulling a concrete block across an iPhone with their screen protector on it. Scratch-resistant isn't necessarily shatter-resistant, so I'll leave it to the review sites to handle the drop tests. I actually don't have a screen protector on my iPhone 5, and (knock on wood) it still has a pristine face, even though at times my phone has been in the same pocket as my keys or knife.
  15. When I was on Android I rooted it so I could upgrade the OS. T-Mobile was horrible about updates at the time. I haven't done it on iOS because I don't tinker as much now that I'm not in IT anymore.
  16. As a Houston Sprint user, I would have found the iPhone 5s useful now, but I figure by the time Apple comes out with the iPhone 6, almost all of NV for Houston will be done, and hopefully the iPhone 6 will include band 41. I'm not holding my breath on getting LTE 800 on my iPhone 5.
  17. Have you tried an audio-only FaceTime to see if it was any better? I wonder if the bandwidth is too poor. Try a speedtest just after having an issue and see what your connection speeds are.
  18. As a Houstonian, the answer is obviously because Dallas sucks. /just kidding. //sort of.
  19. Not public doesn't mean not known, it just means only the OS vendor is allowed to use them. The issue is that had Sensorly used non-public APIs, Apple could have pulled the app from the store. Sensorly has floated the possibility of using Cydia for distribution of a proper app that does the things the iOS version can't do.
  20. I don't think anyone seriously thinks the 6 won't have LTE 2600. That's interesting that the China 5S will have it earlier though.
  21. I also think it will be interesting to see how far out into the ocean coverage will work as well. I bet people on cruise ships will be able to get signal much further away from port than before.
  22. For those of you with battery issues, try to minimize the things that run in the background. Those things add up to where it's doing things often on a cell network, draining the battery. Settings > General > Background App Refresh. Turn off the ones that you don't need to check and download things automatically for you. Settings > iTunes & App Store > Use Cellular Data. Turn off if you want automatic updates to only run on WiFi.
  23. Lots of words of encouragement to someone asking how to make a donation.
