  1. What are Sprint's upgrade policies about new phones if you haven't reached the two year mark yet? I got my iPhone 5 last October with Sprint.
  2. On iOS 6, If you go into Settings | General | Usage, it will show you the times since last full charge for Usage and Standby. You could use this to compare and know for sure. I'm very happy with my iPhone's battery life on LTE. But I'm in Houston so the coverage is pretty good here. If you are not in an LTE area, go to Settings | General | Cellular to turn off LTE. I usually turn off LTE when going to the family farm to keep my iPhone 5 from searching for it in order to get better battery life.
  3. Is there a way looking at the iPhone 5 field test screen to see if a site is using SMR 800?
  4. Looks like the thumbprint scanner in the next iPhone is confirmed.
  5. Ignoring those that can't help themselves, I think the more interesting rumor is the low-cost iPhone. $200 for a no-contract iPhone would be fantastic. Since I'm not quite one year into my Sprint contract, I'm hoping the 5s isn't a very big change. The fingerprint thing is mildly interesting, but I'm not too bothered by entering a PIN to unlock my phone. One of the reasons I don't have a G series is the large screen size, so I hope that Apple keeps a 4" version if they add a larger screen option. Cell phone cameras can always be improved, though I hope there's more improvement that simply upping the megapixels. I'm more anxious about iOS 7 and what Apple does with the iPad/mini since my iPad 2 is getting long in the tooth.
  6. Generally September. iOS 7 will come out around the same time. Sent from my iPad/iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Xenadu, please read the article I had posted earlier on how Facebook and FB Messenger are getting around the system.
  9. Supposedly iOS 7 has APIs that make more info available about signal etc.
  10. He's talking about just resetting Network items. You lose things like saved WiFi passwords. I've never needed to use it, so no guarantees. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
  11. I really like Downcast for podcasts. It's worth the cost and syncs across devices.
  12. I hope so! I like RootMetrics but it would be nice to be able to use Sensorly.
  13. Thanks for your report. Thankfully Apple has a few months to work the kinks out. Have you tried AirDrop yet?
  14. So when a new PRL comes out there will be a column added with that date?
  15. What does the June 4th and April 12th dates mean on the spreadsheet? How do I use the spreadsheet to know what I should be using? I have an iPhone 5 and my PRL is 51097.
  16. Beta 2 released today. Includes iPad support now as well!
  17. Maybe there should be a "Current PRL" sticky thread that is updated by digiblur similar to the NV Sites Map that lists the current PRLs and links to discussions about them.
  18. I won't use iOS 7 until it's final as I use my iPad and iPhone too much for work and can't afford for them to be flakey. And don't say the A word or they come running.
  19. 9to5Mac posted some screenshots using the emulator for iPad. http://9to5mac.com/2013/06/16/a-fresh-look-at-ios-7-on-the-ipad-gallery/
  20. Get it while you can if you're an iOS user. Universal app for iPhone and iPad. http://appshopper.com/social-networking/tapatalk It's the original version 1, but that's still the one I use.
  21. Has anyone seen any screenshots of it on iPad? I know the beta hasn't been released for it yet, but I'm really interested to see how it looks. I wonder what Apple will do with the Find My Friends App, as it's full of skeumorphism. I kinda wish they just merged its functionality with the regular Maps app.
  22. Sorry, no. Your best bet is it make it yourself using low-sugar ketchup. I googled "sugarless barbecue sauce recipe" and found several recipes that you can try. Good luck.
  23. Same, I get them on my Nexus fairly frequently still. 7 looks like it'll finally catch them up in some OS features and design.. Fall was the supposed release. That's so far. It'll come out when the 5S is released, probably mid-September. Sent from my iPad/iPhone using Tapatalk
