Are you talking about call drops or data 'signal'? I haven't had many issues with call/texting, but data for that stretch is slowly improving. Backhaul takes forever in that part of MoCo. Almost feels like Pepco is in charge of rolling it out...
I'd recommend upgrading to sponsor status and you'll be able to get a better picture of the current state of things.
We haven't seen anything for this week yet, but good chunks of urban Richmond and western Richmond proper are complete. I'd highly recommend upgrading to Sponsor to get a better picture.
I assume you only have the single-band version of the GS4? (e.g. you don't have the spinning Spark logo?)
Maybe they heard gold was there. In all seriousness though, I'd be shocked if there wasn't a fiber drop somewhere closer to the mall. Then again I live in my urban bubble.
Alright RVA friends, anyone experience normal service in Short Pump? I'll be down tomorrow and based on the most recent updates hoping for stable service.
Yeah, as a fellow tri-band user in DC (Logan Circle) - I can attest that the network in DC isn't fully ready yet. I tend to get stuck on a weak band 25 signal until I reset my wireless connection. I'm sure it will work itself out soon.
I just feel lucky that Clear was able to steamroll B41 through my area.
I can't tell if this has been directly answered yet, but has anything leaked out of Sprint about the surviving Clear sites converting to full NV build or remain data only.
I may have missed this but does anyone's phone get stuck on 1x800 and never want to leave? I notice that when my phone switches to 800 and has an active data session, it does not switch back to LTE (or even 1900/EvDO) until I go into airplane mode. I've let it sit for about five to ten minutes and it doesn't want to let go.
The DC market has also seen a drastic improvement in ping times. Granted that is only on Ookla, Sensorly has never had good ping times and only seems to get worse in our area.
