  1. RT @marceloclaure: @JohnLegere You have to stop reacting like a Tasmanian Devil. No more tweets. I am busy improving my network..you should…

  2. RT @stevejohnsonokc: I am afraid to ask about what the "complications" were..but im sure the concern was valid. #txwx @ounwcm http://t.co/p…

  3. For the two of us that still have this model - did you receive this update: L720TVPUBOA3? http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Find_and_update_the_software_version_on_your_Samsung_Galaxy_S_4/WRNServiceAdvisory_542_GKB65037?INTNAV=SU:DP:OV:UG:SamsungGalaxyS4:FindAndUpdateTheSoftwareVersionOnYourSamsungGalaxy Not sure if it is a typo on their support site....
  4. Yeah, I hope they develop a better communications plan. I think Sprint really dropped the ball communicating the network rebuilding during the first year or two of NV.
  5. Odd Monday - LTE service along the orange/silver/I-66 corridor has become erratic. Not sure if they are tuning or if that tower software update is causing issues.
  6. Yeah, I really wonder how many of those third-party contracts are non-renewed in the next year or so. We have a couple of nice third-party stores in the area, but most look less than savory.
  7. Looking at the potential store closure list, I am surprised to see the Radioshack in Tenleytown, Washington, DC closing. Sprint has zero retail presence in upper northwest and Georgetown, two large shopping areas. The other DC closings kind of make sense because of their close proximity to a Sprint corporate store. Hope the bankruptcy court will move swiftly. Potential store closing list: http://radioshackcorporation.com/pdfs/RS-Store-Closure-List_020415.pdf
  8. That is great to hear - is it just on Samsung equipment or is there a version for each OEM?
  9. I guess I am no longer part of the country. Or this is slowly rippling through the network....
  10. It's official - the Shack has filed. No details yet. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-02-05/radioshack-files-for-bankruptcy-protection-as-losses-mount-i5spaw86
  11. It sounds like the west coast AL markets have certainly suffered more than the east coast. Although, here in DC they have also been pretty slow, even at filing permits.
  12. RT @sprint: Sorry for the donkey, @Verizon & @ATT, but no way we apologize for cutting your customers' rate plans. #CutYourBillhttps://t.c…

  13. Seems less like an ad, but a pump up video for the workforce and Sprint lovers like us. Either way, love the energy and message - it is a great way to lead off rebuilding the Sprint brand.
  14. Based on the article, it sounds like Sprint is only looking at taking the leases over, so I bet they will be remodeled into corporate stores.
  15. LOL - I hope this was sort of a joke, but funny either way.
  16. Ah sorry man, unfortunately the hosting service doesn't accept a smile and wink as payment.
  17. Hmm, so you're in Mt. Pleasant? If you upgrade to Sponsor, you'll see why.
  18. The CCA/RRPP should help with that, but implementation is going to take time. As much as it would be nice to buy USC, Sprint is so leveraged today they will need a few quarters of strong cashflow before being able to finance something like that. nTelos on the other hand...
  19. Interesting, when I was picking a friend up from that airport in neverland right after Christmas didn't have any issues. I'll pull my log to see what I was pinging. There does seem to be a trend for poor service at local BAWA airports though. Hopefully, the upgraded tower at National will help improve things.
  20. Good news is that he does. I live in 20005 and would be going nuts without legacy Clear towers. Backhaul is extremely hard to come by in DC and installing it can take up to six months per drop. At my previous employer, our network engineers kept trying to jigger up more cable modems while waiting for our fiber drop to be installed. Our building manager just couldn't understand why an office of 400 people couldn't share a 'business grade' cable connection.
