  1. Maybe, in that case, an argument relying on a comparison between the telecom market in the United States and the telecom market in Canada is flawed. Must say though, we've had quite a few spectacular revelations today.
  2. There was a typo in my original post. ORNL allows the network to push a device FROM 3G TO LTE.
  3. There are no modifications at the tower. Usually your phone drops B41 at around -120 because the upload times out, even though the download may still be chugging along at 10-15 mbps. All HPUE does is increase the maximum upload power of the phone, allowing it to hold on to a much weaker signal without the upload failing. This perceived increase in range, because the phone will not drop B41 until a much weaker signal , brings its "range" almost to that of B25.
  4. Just an update on this: Sprint has implemented ORNL recently for several of the more prominent devices on their network (iPhone for example), allowing the network to push a device from 3G to LTE. Maybe we'll start to see more changes soon .
  5. Under the honored premier sponsors section, there is something titled "ATT Master Site Map?"
  6. This is awesome! Did I misread or do we actually have a map of all of the AT&T sites?!
  7. I have never been a fan of EVDO so I'd be happy to see it turned down sooner rather than later. I think the smartest thing to do regarding technologies would be to leave a single PCS HSPA carrier as well as a single SMR 1x Advanced carrier live while devoting the rest of the spectrum to LTE. Thoughts anyone?
  8. Battery drain issues I had seem to be resolved. I went from almost two full charges per day to one charge which lasts me a day and half or so.
  9. I had the same issue, got my battery replaced last friday. Here is the link to check device eligibility if anyone else thinks they might be experiencing the same issue: https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6s-unexpectedshutdown/
  10. Not sure how accurate that is...it seems to state that Sprint will be doing B26/B25/B41 aggregation which I do not believe there are any plans for at this time.
  11. Haha yeah I've got 150mbps symmetrical from Frontier out here in Seattle. Works like a charm - I don't think I've never seen speeds fall below the 150 mark.
  12. Doubles max B41 uplink power (was 23dbm, will be 26dbm), effectively increasing B41 range. If the math is right, we will see a 19% increase in outdoor cell radius.
  13. You're a premier sponsor with access to all of the maps here. Surely you know there are fewer than 15K sites w/o LTE.
  14. Oh ok I was just a little confused because I don't really know the difference other than that one is lowband only and the other can do multiple frequencies.
  15. So basically the big panels ATT, VZW and TMO use are more powerful and more versatile when it comes to aiming sectors?
  16. Oh...I didn't know costs were based on RAT, I had always thought they were based on data usage. Guess you learn something new everyday .
  17. I wonder why they haven't started on international LTE agreements...the other three all have...
