  1. YES! I'm pretty sure AT&T and Sprint are on the same site one exit north of Trip's hotel but AT&T is pulling -110 B17 while Sprint can't pick up B26. It's truly baffling why Sprint isn't broadcasting B26 at full power on these rural sites…
  2. Don't forget Alpha Wireless equipment or Commscope (although Commscope's equipment (S1000 and such) is more like an LTE equivalent of the AIRAVE).
  3. Essentially it will aloe Sprint to provide its enormous B41 resources and spectrum to more people. It is supposed to in increase the range of B41 to 99% that of B25 outdoors and 90% that of B25 indoors. Basically, in many areas where users lose a B41 signal and are shifted down to slower B25, they will be able to maintain a connection to B41.
  4. Huh...I don't remember. My phone was acting a little weird when I posted that but I don't remember what I was going to say…
  5. Are you sure your phone isn't just scanning LTE bands? AT&T does not have any roaming agreements with Sprint.
  6. Oh…maybe that spectrum is free in other markets/areas though - after all SouthernLINC is operating an SMR LTE network sub 817/862 MHz…
  7. Not sure if this is practical, but could Dish potentially pair their AWS-4 downlink spectrum with their 700 MHz spectrum in such a way that 2180-2200 would be used for downlink and 722-728 would be used for uplink? Power levels at cell sites could be turned up incredibly high because uplink would almost never fail before downlink and a 20 MHz downlink carrier would be useful at very low signal levels...again, not sure if this is practical but could this potentially work?
  8. So, if I am correct, Dish has: - 6 MHz 700 E Block (722-728) - 10 MHz PCS H Block (1915-1920, 1995-2000) - 15 MHz of AWS-3 (1695-1710) - 20 MHz of AWS-4 (2000-2200) And Band 70 is: - Downlink: PCS H Block downlink + AWS-4 - Uplink: AWS-3 Will the PCS H Block uplink be abandoned? Or maybe paired with their 700 MHz somehow?
  9. Did you read the whole sentence? After the 10GB, MHS, VPN & P2P usage limited to 2G speeds
  10. The new plan for existing customers that released/releases today gives you 5 lines unlimited everything + 10gb hotspot for $190. Not sure how many lines you have but you should look into it…
  11. No this would just be Sprint quite simply buying Open Mobile and it's assets (that includes its network). The biggest benifits for Sprint would probably be lowband spectrum as well as a larger network that covers a majority of the inner island.
