  1. Oh my god that's awesome! Detroit borders Canada so this is very exciting for people in the Canadian IBEZ everywhere .
  2. This example was intended to be contrasted with many cases in which B26 is at -120 when 3G is closer to -97 or -98.
  3. The rules aren't what's limiting Sprint's B26 coverage, it's Sprint's sites' configurations. I have been to places where B26 is at -120 and 3G is at -106 or only 1x800 is available. Better B26 range is definitely doable, Sprint just hadn't done it in many areas.
  4. Yes, the point I was trying to make is that many sites' configurations could be greatly improved.
  5. I don't disagree with that, in fact I've actually experienced B26 at -98 when B25 drops, although I think it would be fair to say that B26 does not perform that well a significant amount of the time.
  6. Does anyone know more about these "revised power rules"? Will they allow an increase in power levels outside of the IBEZ? And what effect will they have in IBEZ regions?
  7. Yes. Entirely outside of a few select cruises I believe.
  8. Have you been to Vegas since 800 was fired up?
  9. Yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up. Sprint tends to WAY overhype things…
  10. Same story here in Seattle. 700, AWS and PCS are all completely LTE now. The only CDMA left is in the 800 band and even that is becoming hard to find because Verizon has started turning CDMA down completely on select sites. Additionally, new macros don't have CDMA at all.
  11. I've updated. The new app is MUCH better. I can do pretty much everything doable on the website now.
  12. That's what I thought…I wonder why I see both in different parts of the park - maybe Disneyland is on the border of two areas where Sprint has different spectrum holdings (full A block vs. part of the A block)?
  13. Is this at Disneyland or Disney World? I'm at Disneyland and I've only seen 8109, 8140 and 8665…
  14. Hey I'm in Disneyland right now too! Here's what I've found: Sprint has three B25 carriers on air (8109, 8140, 8665) as well as three B41 carriers (39874, 40072, 40270). Speeds on Sprint and VZW are been slow but usable. AT&T and T-Mobile are pretty much useless. I wish Sprint would load balance between B25 and B41 better and that they'd run 6 B41 carriers here instead of three - I think those two things would really help with the data here.
  15. Yeah. We have a few here in Seattle in areas where sites are sparse and capacity is not sufficient.
  16. Yes. It's not everywhere although I believe a few sites in my area are running it on B12.
