    posted this in the NYC market thread but I noticed that the connection time is a lot shorter when dialing out and receiving a call before when I was on 55016 it would take 13 seconds to connect now on 55017 it takes 3 seconds to connect... Anyone else notice that difference besides me...

    you have an active data connection that is all you could be connected to Ben 41 25 or 26 it doesn't matter as long as its LTE

    mine went from 55016 2 55017 what that actually does I have no idea what I do know is a tower by me is still going under maintenance for the past month it seems... something potentially interesting is that it doesn't take 13 seconds for a call to connect only takes 3 seconds before the line starts to ring

    Noted... Thank you.... I wonder what use clearwire hotspots where if that was the case then as they had similar propergation... Hopefully 800 LTE is not far behind as well as I still loose signal in my bathroom and hallway on band 25...

    Where about in the NYC market have you traveled that u picked up band 41? I know I saw on the sprint map its pretty wide spread does it make a difference between being inside a builsing over out in the streets?

    I was wrong about the 1x icon.... I signal check after the update to 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 doesn't refresh automatically so it may have showed 1x but was actually connected to ev-do at the time... I mispoke on that matter...

    I do but I handle my investment account through my bank... So certain menus aren't available.... As I a side 4.4.1 when connected to 1x shows as 3G not 1x as before....

    Lack of flash is when I need to do banking online and lack flash inhibits me from doing certain actions.... So that is a strick for me personally... But the nexus is good too... Just know I'll be looking at the HTC M8 HTC one/2 when it drops as well....

    just picked up my HTC One for the first time in about 3 weeks and I'm still impressed with how fast and smooth it is how good the glass feels against the hand when you're just surfing and doing regular everyday stuff! That's really good device and I wish HTC sold more...in addition is still supports Flash browser

    For sure.. But for people who don't tinker and get this update on top of the other issues won't be very happy... I pay for the torture of being an early adopter..tinkering keeps me engaged...

    Was never prompted for an ota so used the custom recovery off xda linked aboved... Flash both radios to see the difference and completely stop picking up a tower I connect to in my room... Usually I get two sites and was picking up the weaker signal and completely dropped the other... Radio is definitely not good in the latest update switch backed to the original.... Interesting it took such a step back.

    Finally got to see the HTC one max in person... Its screen is bigger than my nexus 5...

    This is happening with me... I can see the LTE connection but I can't get any data from the tower while on "LTE" so ib won't v recieve text or get calls after awhile it itv drop down to 3g. The same thing was happening at another tower. They seemed to have changed the v tower Id as I don't v hat the same gci PCI as I was before now that I'm connecting again...

    So that site I reported to sprint I think was fixed almost same day...but what is weird and can someone with more knowledge assist me. The site gci PCI and TAC changed completely compared to the tower Id I was connecting too before... Why would that be the case?
