    so LA and Florida, I am in NYC and haven't stumbled across it yet .... even though sprint says the bands are live and I enabled my band 41 and 26 on my nexus....

    they were definitely still updating towers in my area just up to a few days ago its now back to normal scan times and picking up signal in my market.... so patients is key as they are aware in areas that can be fixed with software... if that helps

    So even though sprint spark is officially launched the maps are up I don't think they're broadcasting the signal just came from the Sprint store and they haven't even sent out the update yet. I'm just waiting for some speed test! in NYC showing its live! Is the HTC One Max a online order because they didnt have in store as well!

    If that is the case my Nexus is feeling a lil left out and I am kinda tempted to be frivolous and go buy a ONE MAX with for a few days! FML

    this story was also picked up by gottabemobile.com... from ev leaks as well... I like this design a but more than I do the G2 which is a nice design... there is something understaded and intrustrial at the same time... mmmmmm devices make my pockets go empty!

    I did wake up this morning to the tower that went down for what I asked earlier may have been MSC software update... to it handing off properly this morning when I walked into my kitchen to make coffee.. that tower went down Saturday and came back online Wednesday to give a time frame for those who had connection to to losing connection initially! the tower was still functional for single band devices but my nexus 5 with out LTE only mode being enabled, couldn't handoff and connect before this morning!

    This seems to be so many different issues at hand I really do hope sprint engineers and people who are in charge of networking have a better understanding of what's going on!

    I have noticed that it does not affect my left thumb and mostly my right thumb and I also noticed that it sensitive to the sensitivity or lack of sensitivity of the skin. My right thumb is a little harder calloused then my left so it's probably not picking up the pressure sensitivity from the contact! which points to either a calibration issue if that is case as an uneducated guess.

    Has anyone had any issues with receiving a phone call when swiping to answer I noticed that I won't be able to actually take the call and I'll have to keep swiping until the caller goes to voice mail even then, I'll have to do a hard reboot!

    It shows LTE in the status bar when LTE data only mode, but doesn't show the DBM reading from signal check pro which would give the GCI PCI reading typically.... my mom has a signal band lg optimus g I can install pro on her device and get the info that way. but I won't see her till later ...

    Nice... well as long as she enjoys it that what matters... the thing is she probably has a bag that wouldn't work for my pockets

    Actually went to the Sprint store today and played with the LG G 2 the review say that this phone is the same size as the Nexus 5 but holding them side to side and face to face the g2 is actually bigger I do like the screen though I still question my decision but I'm going to be strong and keep the Nexus I might get the G2 for my mom haha! it seems like DPI is set different than the nexus everything comes off more spacious or is that really the effect of .25 in screen over the nexus 5?

    I actually got to play with the Galaxy Note 3 today and the white one is pretty boss! It's almost the perfect size I really like it and I hope that they come out with the update that supports triband once triband is more widely accepted like they may for the s4...

    I kind of wish my mom was like your mom but that is actually a little bit excessive and really funny! I got to see the make it today and it is really big! Is she going to be using it as an actual phone?

    So I went to the Sprint store today and got to play with the Samsung s4 mini. I will say that that device is really small and having the Galaxy mega a right next to it didn't do any favors!

    that works be possible if it would show up normally connected to 1x/3g and LTE ... having to force LTE doesn't give me that info ...

    this is the tower I am not able to handoff to now while other surrounding towers work.its in LTE only mode to get this screenshot... I called sprint about and they said it could be in an update stage as they can't see specific tower work just regional updates... would that be the MSC software mentioned in article?

    That sounds like a site by my house where it covers all of Broadway 231 section and doesn't connect but my mothers single band options g connects just fine... All other sites in the vicinity haven't exhibited that behavior. Just long cycle times to connect back to the tower as well. Which means hopefully something is being done to fix the hand-off issues... EDIT: In forcing device to LTE solely no 1x or ev-do data hand-offs are smooth and doesn't drop connection... I am in an Incumbent market with intermittent connection to towers... I did call sprint to open a ticket and she mentioned something about tower calibration in regards to software as the reason I may not be attaching to site and that it could be days before it comes back online for me normally. But it is only affecting my device N5 and NOT when in just LTE mode just simply the hand-off between 1x/3g DATA to LTE!

    There has been tower shut downs in my area that's not allowed me to connect to a base station. My phone has been cycling through 1x to ev-do to ehrpd back to LTE in a mater of a min or two as well... Anyway else in the NYC area experience this with the g2/nexus or other triband device?
