  6. So it's interchangeable?! No difference so network would be available theoretical at flip of a switch?
  7. so something just crossed my mind if these bands arent on sprints G block spectrum and there between A and F, blocks that would mean they would be support for band 2 LTE for Sprint devices right? And, would the new tri-band devices have LTE band 2 support already built in, or is it in all sprint LTE devices but lying dormant?
  8. Either way it was well written article... Thank you for write up! I and most would not know anything if it wasn't for how the site breaks things down to discuss and understand!
  9. so I was doing some searching on the wall of old s4gru posts and came across the why T Mobile and Sprint should share network and looking at the difference spectrum layouts of where their PCs licenses lie it makes me salivate at the potential monster that could be! But I would definitely welcome a second 5 x 5 carrier in the New York City market! http://s4gru.forumflash.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-33-spectrum-analysis-part-twosprint-and-t-mobile-spare-pcs-spectrum-would-pair-nicely-for-a-lte-partnership/# There was never a part 3....
  10. I figured but I have a feeling value may rise with the imminent arrival of no contract plans plus network improvements... As you said it's a good device and I like it in white... Saw it in store and was just thinking... "Yes"
  11. so I am very close to pulling the trigger on buying an LG G2 off ebay they're going for like $300 new can someone please tell me why this device is so inexpensive? Do you personally care for the LG software or running a custom rom....
  12. the Google Play 32 and 16 gigabyte version and the Sprint 16 gigabyte version are all the same they all get direct updates from Google not from Sprint it's like having a Google Experience phone from Samsung or HTC you're not going to get carrier apps on those devices everything gets updated from Google itself even the spark update will come from Google itself not from sprint most likely...
  13. card analogy poker, spades... Good hand! Get it... :-)
  14. the average customer does see numbers but those numbers that they advertise are very uniform yes you can see upwards of 60 megabytes per second but in reality you will only see 5 to 12 consistently and those are the numbers are they actually do advertise we as s4gru members do care about peak numbers but if we're talking about our mothers, uncles, regular Joe small brother and sister they just want a phone that works and can stream YouTube get on Twitter and not fail during a call...
  15. I am speaking nation wide not your market exclusively.... I wish I had the same experience that you are... But I believe ultimately sprint is a good hand to be holding... They have a positive upswing with proper direction...
  16. that still in theory not in practical practice... I still Park on 3g in a covered lte area... Just know that from a technically semi enlightened consumer standpoint I understand because I read.. But for masses that means dog poop...
  17. I would focus on seamless hand-off between lte sites in tdd band 41 to fdd pcs smr before I am overly concerned about 100 maps theoretical speeds... That would satisfy the lot and help retain customers and create recommendation to the network! Numbers are pretty... But consistency!
  18. Definitely left it open to interpretation... Be interesting what the next few weeks unfold like...
  19. I just read that and my heart sank a lil.... Lucky for the G2 owners though!
  20. I want to know this as well that just not something that can be guesstimate with the info at hand....
  21. Sprint LG G2 off eBay is a better deal than a Nexus 5 with those going for $325 brand new! I'm looking at one as a backup since I don't have tep....
  22. I believe it says that an individual without a "framily" would pay $55 before taxes and fees alone... Which include text talk and 1gb of data...
  23. Yes to these plan changes! I love this! So existing customers can pay off subsidy to switch lines to a full no contract is what I wonder as I would do that!
  24. That's fine that just means as they sell I will buy... Which I did
